Hi Everybody!
Hope your weekend was as good as mine! I was out and about most of the time, making the best of the last fine and sunny autumn days before the rainy, misty weather gets to us.
On Tuesday we are starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday, and our lovely Michele is hosting. She has chosen Edgar Allen Poe as her theme, so hope to see lots of creepy and chilling tags! I shaped my tag like a tombstone. The background papers are from Gecko Galz, the images from my stash and Serif:
Today is also Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday, so here a warm welcome to all of the lovely ladies of the T Gang. I like to drink my coffee at the market place:
Last week the days all started off fine and sunny:
I haven't finished processing the many photos I took this weekend, so here are those I took the week before, when N and I visited the beautiful Lantzche Park near here. I love the little chapel there, and this time an organist was playing , so we were able to enjoy some beautiful music:
After leaving the park we walked down to the Rhine and then along the river back home:
It's quite a long walk, and we were very hungry by the time we got back to our little town and rewarded ourselves with a grilled chicken meal at the snack bar:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Your tag is very appropriate. Its colour and that of the sunsets are gorgeous.

Your photos of that chapel take my breath away, and those scenic woodland views would definitely draw me back. How wonderful to have such a place near you :)
Outstanding Poe tag, Valerie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty little chapel and how nice that you happened upon a free organ concert. I love your photo of someone walking down a wooded path, but they're all beautiful.
Happy T-day. Hugs, Eileen
Your Edgar tag is perfect. I think he would approve as he now becomes the bust of Pallas. The little chapel is so beautiful. The blues in the stained glass and paintings are so stunning. The scenery is gorgeous. You must have been tired like the sheep after your long walk. It's getting close to dinner here and that chicken looks so yummy. Happy T Day

Hi Valerie Great to see your Edgar Allan Poe tag - the image of him balancing the raven on his head is prefect, especially behind that sinister fence. I really love the stained glass windows of that beautiful little chapel...thinking of walking along the Rhine seems like a dream for me - so distant in so many ways from living in Newcastle (Australia).
ReplyDeleteOmgosh! That Poe tag is awesome Valerie!! Love the drippage! heehe
