Hi Everybody!
Today we are starting a new challenge at More Mixed Media. As always, our challenges are anything goes, and the optional colour is orange, a great choice with autumn and Halloween! You have 4 weeks to join us and link up your creations, so hope to see you there. I made a mixed media autumn/ Halloween tag. I once again used lots of natural elements, and a vintage German scrap witch. I am also linking to Paint Party Friday, Simon Monday challenge, Tag it and Tag Tuesday:
The photos were taken last weekend in the neighbouring town of Duisburg. We went for a walk through the woods, where there are lots of climbing possibilities for young and old - and no, I didn't try it:
Some canals and lakes have been adapted for water sport and regattas:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
I'm in love with your tag. I love how the witch looks with her adorable black cat, and I love the natural elements you used, too.
ReplyDeleteYour trip to the Duisburg woods was SO fun. Those children looked like they were having a ball. And the way they had that lake laid out for races was something totally new to me. Great photos, many very unique.

ReplyDeleteLove your fabulous witch, and all those natural elements added - a brilliant tag! And it looks as though you're having the same marvellous weather as we've got in the Czech Republic at the moment... isn't it uplifting to have such blue skies in October?!

It Is indeed! Enjoy your stay!
DeleteI think the climbing paraphernalia is for people with no fear of heights. Not for me. But I do love the new challenge and I need to write myself a note to remember to join it. (hee) Love the fun Halloween/fall tag. That is a great witch, more of a folk witch not a spooky witch. Have a great weekend. hugs-Erika

ReplyDeleteThis tag brought a smile to my face. Great fun. Reminds me of fall and nice cool temps. Not a Halloween fan but love fall colors. The children look like they are having a great time. The kid in me wants to join them but the elder in me says "you're kidding, right?" LOL.

ReplyDeleteWow. What a lot of wonderful detail in your tag. The colours are so vibrant and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOrange is my color, so perhaps I should go back to make some mixed media again (haven't done so in ages). I love the German witch, she looks right out of Hänsel und Gretel.
ReplyDeleteWow, that climbing place looks enticing. I probably wouldn't do it anymore, but my daughter would be delighted to find something like this!
