Hi Everybody!
It's the start of a new week - have a good one!
On Tuesday we are starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday. This time Sandie is hosting and has chosen 'Flags / bunting' as her theme. She has made 2 example tags on the TT blog as inspiration.
I made a quick collaged tag. The background was a scrap of water-coloured paper onto which I stamped lots of trees in various sizes. The sun was also stamped and coloured. I used a photo taken in the little medieval town of Zons, which I digitally changed to Sepia to make it look old. I added the lady and child and hung up some paper bunting. I sewed the tag onto 2 pieces of coordinating matting:
And I made a digital tag, too. Among the little people I have placed my mum, Erika and myself:
Hope to see lots of you joining in the challenge.
Tuesday is also Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday, so here a warm welcome to all of the lovely ladies of the T Gang. We have markets here 3 times a week, and the Wednesday one is small, but beautifully situated right by the Rhine. There is always a coffee bike there, and they sell the best coffee and cappuccino in our little town, really fantastic. And believe me, I have tried every other coffee place here!
Some more photos from a walk last week. We are enjoying beautiful, 'Golden October' weather, with lots of sunshine and blue skies, just fantastic for walking:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Hello dear Valerie!
ReplyDeleteYour collage tag is very beautiful! Like the colored background ,the vintage images and the paper bunting!
I also like your family digital tag ! Your pictures from your walk are fantastic! Lovely Autumn images and blue skies! Such cute horses!I like cappuccino too !! Thank you for sharing! Wishing you a lovely day and a happy week! Hugs!

Thanks so much Dimi!
DeleteHi Val, love both tags. Good that you were able to make one with Zons, I know how you love it there. Great tag with all the kids, nice to see the family again. You look so much like your mum. Wonderful photos, too, I can imagine how you like the coffee bike! Have a nice afternoon, the kids are all at my sister's, so I'm enjoying some peace and quiet! Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteSweet tags and lovely to use pics of family in them. Beautiful Autumn photos. I love the coffee bike, and the anchor reminds me of a smile. The walking man looks chilly. Maybe he needs to borrow a horse blanket. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteThat man seems to be hot blooded.
DeleteGreat projects and photos. Thank you for your sweet comment.
ReplyDeleteWhat absolutely adorable tags. Both are wonderful. I loved the digi one because I recognized you and Erika, and I loved the other one because of all the time you spent getting that bunting in place. They are both lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to celebrate T day. The coffee bike is so fun to see and the container is as cute as the actual bike. I'll gladly join you with a cappuccino.
The photos you shared today are wonderful. I can't believe it's cold enough there for the horses to wear their blankets. And I never EVER tire of that fabulous rusty statue/sculpture. Thanks for sharing your photos, your tags, and your trip to the Coffee Bike (LOVE) with us for T this Tuesday.
The horses are outside day and night, and it gets very cold at night, so they need their coats.
DeleteI've never heard of a coffee bike, but it'd be a welcome addition here :)
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful views, and I love the public sculptures. Seeing the horse blankets was fun :) Happy early T day!
What a glorious walk. I love that these folks take such good care of their horses.
ReplyDeleteAnd a coffee bike! That's a grand idea.
As always your works are wondrous. That happy sun just sets of the whole first piece.
Hugs

Wonderful tags - the one with you and your mom is really special!!! As always, your photos make me want to hop on a plane to Germany!!
ReplyDeleteI love your scenic card. The banner is such a colorful addition. And your tag is beautiful with all those lovely vintage children.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place to stop and have a cappuccino. Autumn has definitely come to your land. So beautiful with the last traces of blooms. Your photos are lovely as always.

Oh Valerie! I am often tempted to look at your photos first but I just could not pass by your beautiful tags! I spotted you straight away on the second one! Your photos are of course fabulous - we have had some lovely sunshine today too! Isn't it great when you find THE perfect coffee place? Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteLovely tags, especially with the real photos.
ReplyDeleteI’m glad you are enjoying the lovely autumn weather. (We had a hail storm today)! I enjoyed all your photos.
those window boxes with the geraniums are beautiful and the trees in autumn colors. A delight for the eyes.
Happy t day,

Beautiful tags Valerie, I love how you've added photos of you and your family with the little people.
ReplyDeletexxx Hazel.
Your tags are such a delight to see, I love the familial aspect. The photos are also very lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with your tag. The 3D banner is brilliant! As always I love your photos. Fall really is lovely. We've been so wet and overcast that it has been a lame season so far.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed seeing how you put your bunting together. That's a lovely scene Valerie.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice popping your Mum and yourself in the digital tag too.
The coffee bike is such a good idea - great that the coffee is so good as well.. lovely to look at lovely to taste! I like that your Council allows it to sell on the street like that... over here, there would be frowns from the local law-makers.
It's so good to see your walk photos too, always plenty to see. Those brilliant pink geraniums are stunning!! I like the fact that you often look up to take photos - I see the bird's nest in the tree too - well spotted.
Cheerio for now, beaut to catch up. Sue :D) xx
The market sellers need a town license and are inspected constantly by health and safety people . They are very strict here.
DeleteSorry to be so late visiting this T Day, we have been on a 2 week vacation visiting our friends in Maine, America and Tuesday was our last day with them. We flew back yesterday and arrived back home today, so I figured better late then never ...lol 😉. I love your tags especially the one with your family photos - amazing! The market always looks like a lovely place to visit and oh, how pretty is that pink geranium! Happy belated T Day wishes! J 😊 x
