Hi Everybody!
I made another piece (12" x 12") using fresh, summer colours and my fave dragonfly stamp. I have several different ones but this is the nicest from Laurenz and Morgan. The other stamps used are by Artemio, Hein Design and Tim Holtz. I am linking to Paint Party Friday, Simon Monday Challenge, summer fun, and Simon Wednesday challenge, fun in the sun. My idea of summer fun is to be outside, walking through the meadows by the river.
Ans I have another piece made with new, self-carved stamps:
Some photos taken this week along the Rhine and from my balcony:
This was a windy day, my hair didn't look better....poor magpie!
We just had 5 minutes of rain, but it was enough:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Your page reminds me of pink lemonade. Your stamps are awesome and would be perfect for T Day. Looks like a beautiful day along the Rhine, and the rainbow is 😮
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous piece Valerie, I love the dragonflies, and your hand carved stamps are brilliant. Sorry I've been MIA this week, but we have the builders in, so I'm dodging cement mixers and jigger picks! Yay - not lol. Have a fun weekend, Sue xx
ReplyDeleteI don't envy you the builders!
DeleteAnother beautiful page with the dragonflies, its a great quote. Your new hand made stamps with the cups and cakes look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteSuper photos I had to smile at the bird with the ruffled feathers.

Sabine
Such lovely art with the dragon flies.
ReplyDeleteThe Rhine and surrounding area is looking lovely.
Must admit here in the UK some rain would be welcome … even the five minutes worth you had!
All the best Jan
And we got another 10 minutes worth of rain yesterday evening, wow!
DeleteGreat pages
ReplyDeleteVibrant paintings. And lovely shots. :)
ReplyDeleteDragonflies are like little pieces of flying magic, aren't they? As old as I am, I still get excited when I see one. And that quote should be framed and hanging on the wall as a reminder to everyone who sees it... especially the young, when we waste sooooo much time doing... nothing.
ReplyDeleteI love that poor ruffled magpie. Hopefully, the wind blew away all of his mites. :)
Have a wonderful weekend!
lovely summertime journal page! The best thing about summer is being out and about and I love the beautiful sights you share with us. Happy PPF!

ReplyDeleteLovely piece! I adore dragonflies. There's a blue one who follows me around the garden when I water in the morning. He seems quite devoted. What lovely photos--I especially enjoyed seeing the Oregon grapes. <3
