Hi Everybody!
Just a quick post this evening, the day has run away from me again!
For Art Journal Journey, favourite poem or quote, I made another page using one of 'my' heads - I have heads in all sizes! I made a torn paper background, which I lightly gessoed so as not to completely conceal the underlying text. I used lots of Gelatos to let my head shine. The quote is from Katrina Mayer.
I bound another 10 journal pages using a thermal binder
We had a wonderful sunrise and warm and sunny day:
The crow who likes to sneak in and eat the fat balls tried to hide in the tree again when he saw me!
Have a great day you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Beautiful page, I've never heard of thermal binding before, it sounds interesting. Glad it was warm and sunny, as it was here!
ReplyDeleteLove your bright and shining head, great idea. The new journal looks good, you will get nice collection.

Oh I love the lady who lost her head - but she looks quite at ease with it. It's a really fun page with a serious message which I will think about! Great background too.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of the sunrise, what a great view you have.
The view is the only good thing about my flat!
DeleteYour heads are always so much fun. I think they are your specialty, that and taking bird photos, and sunrises too!

ReplyDeleteYes, that crow is funny! It was just hiding behind my gorse bush, and kept peeking through the flowers to see if I was still there!
DeleteLove the shining light bulb head, it looks so iridescent with the colours you chose to surround it.
