Hi Everybody!
Here's wishing us all a great weekend. It was very stormy here today, cold, wet and windy! I had to go to my doctor today, and on the way back I nearly got blown over. This was a great excuse to stay home in the warm for the rest of today!
My winter lights:
I can't remember what I've already showed or not, sorry for repeats:
Have a great weekend, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!
Lovely photos and funnies and art work Valerie, hope you feeling okay and keeping warm...............................................Holly and I are warm, very warm, 32oC yesterday, it was awful..have a great weekend, I'm off to Christmas in the park tonight with my daughter and family and have to sit on the ground then get up after 4 hours, god help us all..
ReplyDeleteLuv CHRISSYxx
Thanks Chrissy! Sitting on the ground? Oh no! I would have to stay there forever. Strange that it's so hot at your end and so cold here. Have a fun evening!
DeleteLovely post, and happy holidays to you.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, have a great weekend and happy holidays to you and yours!
DeleteHi Val, nice to see another post from you. Glad you are slowly getting better. It's R's birthday tomorrow so we are busy getting ready for the party, heeeeelp! Hugs from us all, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, hugs to all, and have fun with the birthday girl! Hugs!
DeleteLove all the art and beautiful textured piece with all the material and stitching. Been cold here today but even had some sun and got washing dry-heaving it down now though! Best place to stay in and keep warm.
ReplyDeleteCarol x
Thanks Carol. The wind might have dried washing here, too, but it rained a lot. I had an appointment this morning but stayed home after that because it was so windy. Let's see what tomorrow will bring. Have a great weekend, hugs!
DeleteIt's been windy and very cold here today too. A good day to stay inside and play. Even if a couple of these art pieces are repeats, it was still fun to see them. I love how you left the logo on the Amazon box as a smile. Stay warm and take care. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika. I saw the Amazon smile and had to leave it there! Hugs!
DeleteStay safe Valerie! -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThanks, Christine, hugs!
DeleteHere in the UK we have weather warnings as Storm Darragh approaches. Quite a few Christmas Events have been cancelled, transport is being affected too! I've made the decision to stay home in the warm :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing your art and a good collection of funnies.
Take care, stay safe and have a restful weekend.
All the best Jan

Stay safe in the storm. It's cold and windy here, too, good weather to stay home! Hugs, Valerie
DeleteWhat a great post - filled with your wonderful art and lots of funnies and good quotes to ponder. I really like that clock image and what you've done with it. Have a safe and warm weekend and take care.
ReplyDeleteThe clock image FELL OFF AN OLD CARD, so I reused it. Happy weekend!
DeleteI left a comment on your last post, Valerie, and it disappeared never to return, so I hope that this one has a little more staying power. There is a lot of wonderful and creative work in here, and great thinkies and funnies too. Perhaps this collection of Vintage Valerie is a sign that you are feeling at least a little better. After all it takes time and energy to assemble this collection. The weekend is here. Enjoy. Perhaps you will see Heike? Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteI am starting to feel a bit stronger and that is good! I foundx yout last comment, too, it had landed in trash, sorry- I was out with Heike, we went to the hairdressers and then ate Reibekuchen at the Christmas narket, yummy!
DeleteYour winter lights are so pretty and I really do love all your art today. I've heard there is quite the storm in the UK and suspect your high winds might be connected, despite the distance. It has been windy and cold here, too. We went to a holiday concert last night and though we only parked a few blocks away, it felt like miles in the cold! I hope you can stay in and cozy and have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Jeanie! Yes, we have a taste of the storm here, and I'm glad it's not more. When it's cold or sbowing and blowing all journes seem to be muc h longer! Have a great weekend, stay well, hugs!
DeleteSuch beautiful artwork! Loving the black cat, such fun 😊. I hope you're having a wonderful weekend ❤️. Take care and happy December! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jo, hope your weekend was good, too! Hugs!
DeleteGood collection of art and funnies.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lin, hugs!

Thanks Elke. The weather has really not been good, I stayed home today! Hugs!
DeleteI am delighted to see another post from you.
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you're on the mend, dear Valerie.
Loving your art, thinkies and funnies as always.
Thanks so much, Veronica. I always enjoy your holiday adventures, thanks so much for sharing. Hugs!
DeleteHow beautiful... and it's warm in the heart despite the wind and cold wetness outside. Kind regards to you. Happy second Advent to you.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow and the day after tomorrow there will be snow here.
The fabric appliqué looks so interesting... what a great idea... I'll probably try it one day too. Thanks for your inspiration.
A hug comes from Viola
Thanks so much, Viola. I am happy to be home in my warm home, outside it is dark and cold! The fabric piece was made from tiny scraps after making clothes for a neighbour's girls. Hugs!
DeleteI hate the cold. Even A/C bothers me so I can imagine what you're going through. I like those face pieces as well as the Christmas lights. Take care. There is only one YOU.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, warmth is always better than cold. I hope you and David are doig well, hugs, Valerie
DeleteBeautiful artwork, always a joy to see. It's been blowing a gail over here the past few days too and so cold with it. Take care - Michelle x
ReplyDeleteYes, it's winter, and we need our warm clothes!
