Hi Everybody!
It's a cold and blustery autumn day here, but I still enjoyed my walk, well wrapped up against the chill winds and rain.
Today I have 12" x 12" mixed media journal page to share, and another tag for Tag Tuesday, both with my fave theme of autumn. I am linking to Paint Party Friday, Simon Monday Challenge, monochrome, and Simon Wednesday challenge, anything goes. I used a lot of my nature bits and pieces and other flying objects from my work space:
The tag has been made with an image from Gecko Galz, which I printed onto canvas. I sewed it some coordinating matting and added some pretty leaves gathered at the market square and some straw. I am linking to Tag Tuesday
Our theme is autumn /Halloween:
The first photos were taken while on a walk with my friend N on the other side of the Rhine:
Looking towards the Altstadt:
An unexpected visitor:
These photos were taken at South Park 2 weeks back:
Rusty art for Elizabeth!
And the last few photos were taken on my walk here yesterday:
May the sun always rise for us!
Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Once again, you've shared some terrific artwork and photos. I especially like the wording on the first one about time... very thought-provoking, you clever lady.
ReplyDeleteAnd the ROSES! Wow. They're absolutely gorgeous.
So your weather has gotten cold already? Hopefully, not TOO cold. It's still pretty hot here. I'm looking forward to cooler temperatures, so we can open some windows and turn off the air conditioning.
Have a super weekend!
Thanks Susan. It's really cold today. Last week was tee shirt weather, today I needed my winter jacket.

That's a beautiful mixed media piece. The quote is so true, and I like how the three figures represent the passing of people while nature stays. Well done! Happy PPF and happy weekend!

Love the new header. Looks like fall has arrived. I like the mixed media piece and all the pieces you used to make the cool collage. Are those shadow women on the paper or part of the page. Nice tag too. And wow, who knew Napoleon was still around? (Smile). I like the animal photos. You got some good ones. Happy weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThe shadowy ladies were stencilled.
DeleteSeems I've been playing catch up today. I LOVE the rusty sculpture. It fits right in with autumn, too.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of autumn, I adore the 12 X 12 page you created. I love how you used the pods as wings AND as leaves. The use of clocks was brilliant, too. Overall, a fabulous journal page.
I didn't realize there were so many types of owls until recently and these two are both impressive and filled with steampunky goodness. I'm loving both the tag and the journal entry.
Forgot to mention how much I like your new autumn inspired blog banner!

Hallo Liebe Valerie, deine herbstliche Komposition gefällt mir ganz besonders gut.

I'm in the Czech Republic at the moment, and we've had a week of gloriously sunny weather. But it's definitely chilly today (though still sunny), and the trees are just starting to turn, so it's great to see your haunting autumnal page, with such lovely images and natural embellishments. And as always great to see your photos too.
