Hope you have all enjoyed your weekend and are off to a good start this week.
Tuesday is always Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday, so here a warm welcome to all the nice ladies of the T gang. There's still a whole week to make a tag for Wendy's 'landmarks' challenge at Tag Tuesday. I have a tag which is suitable for both. The Eiffel Tower and the Triumphal arch are in the background, but much more important, the girl is enjoying a huge cup of coffee with her croissant. I made the tag with elements from Serif on a hand-painted background:
We had lovely sunrises all week:
G came for breakfast and made plum pancakes - decadently delicious!
We had a trip to Krefeld, a neighbouring town, and saw this beautiful fountain which is called the 'Puppenbrunnen' - puppet fountain:
And of course, we found a place to sit under some shady trees and enjoy a drink - my coffee was served with a chocolate espresso bean:

ReplyDeleteYour tag is incredible. The Arch and Eiffel Tower are so iconic of Paris and I'm sure the little cafe is the perfect spot for a cup of coffee, too. I feel I was transported there via your tag.
ReplyDeleteI am in LOVE with that puppet fountain. I think it is the most unusual fountain I have ever seen. You were SO lucky to have captured it. I LOVE it.

Lovely tag. I can almost smell the fresh bread. The plum pancakes sounds delicious. Never thought of adding anything other than blueberries or choc chips to pancake batter. The puppet fountain is so charming. Your sunrise pictures are awesome and I enjoy the pictures you take along the Rhine. Must be fun to watch the boats. Happy T Day

ReplyDeleteA beautiful tag Valerie and I love the sunrise photos, I don't see many sunrises as I'm a lazy bones in the mornings but we do have amazing sunsets. Like you I am enjoying the cooler weather and I'm happy when it rains so I don't have to water the plants

ReplyDeleteGorgeous sunrise photos. So happy for you that your walks have been cooler. It cooled off here two days ago. What a difference from the intense humidity we've been experiencing most of the summer.

Its a wonderful tag Valerie and it is nice to dream of sitting with coffee close to the Eiffel Tower. All the photos looked lovely, the Fountain looked lovely amazing sculptures of the puppets
