Hi Everybody!
Hope your week is going well - mine is going by too quickly again.
I have some more pages from my journal to share. The wood-nymph was made using water-colours, mermaid markers, Gelatos and blow pens to make the splatters. The stars were stenciled. I am linking to Paint Party Friday, hosted by Eva and Kristin and to Simon Wednesday challenge, anything goes:
These pages were made using Gelatos, brush-pens, a stencil and some Jane Davenport washi tape. I made lots of such easy pages while it was so hot to keep myself occupied:
The tag is for Joan's time / clocks challenge at Tag Tuesday:
The photos were taken back in June, part of those I forgot to download. I always love these long-eared sheep, which move along the Rhine grazing. It must be difficult for them just now as the grass is all burnt brown and yellow from the big heat:
These photos were taken on a walk between the Altstadt of Düsseldorf and the Yacht Harbour:
This is a snack-bar boat, selling kebabs:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

As for your great photos, you know I always enjoy sheeps! They are my favourite animals!
Kisses, my friend.
I love your beautiful wood nymph, I wish I looked that good with leaves in my hair! The tag with Erika and the clocks is so grungy and gorgeous. Great photos as always, those sheep are wonderful to watch. Love the splendid cloud photo, too. Have a nice afternoon, hugs, Sarah
Sabine

Beautiful work for the challenges, the photos are lovely although June seems so far away now.
ReplyDeleteWonderful art, as always. Love the colors of the wood nymph and her quote, fun textures on all the faces, and the wow tag. I started counting the sheep and now I need a nap. =^,.^= My favorite is the black sheep. Thanks for the trip along the busy Rhine.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS pages!! Love your face on the first one , but also the ones with Jane D's tapes!! Simple but effective! The tag is a real stunner and those long eared sheep are indeed adorable!!!

I really love the quote on your blue nymph. And the tag is terrific -- love the texture with the corrugated paper.

ReplyDeleteCorrugated card is one of my fave substrates
DeleteYou have been busy. ANd making some super pages. What are mermaid markers? Maybe they are a brand. I like the long haired sheep too. And thanks for the super package. It arrived yesterday and I haven't had time to photograph it yet or use anything, we've go the heat now and I come home pretty wiped out. But we have a long holiday weekend so hopefully there will be some art time since it is supposed to cool off later today. I hope. Thanks again. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteMermaids markers are brush pens filled with pigment ink.
DeleteThose long-eared sheep look very appealing indeed.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous art journal page!!! Love the green vines through her hair!!!

Happy PPF Valerie~
ReplyDeleteGreat journal pages
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful wood nymph, and clever use of the JD washi tapes. The corrugated piece is amazing - so full of texture and colours getting ready for autumn - a great rusty grungy look.

I like all of your art pieces, but the wood nymph is my favorite. The expression on her face looks like she's got a secret. Maybe about how foolish people are not to be doing a better job preserving those trees and flowers?
ReplyDeleteSome of the vibrant colors in your photos really stand out. Like the red snack barge and the blue restaurant. The bridge looks kinda blue in the photo, too. Colors like that can brighten up a dreary day.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Lovely journal spread and quote - the portrait is so pretty. Fab clock/time tag! And I love your wonderful photos of the sheep and harbour!! Hope things have cooled off for you now. Happy PPF!
