A winner, a face and a tag

Hi Everybody!

I have been enjoying the cooler weather here very much, and hope that your weather is good, too. Today I picked a name out of the hat to win the Jane Davenport stamp set. And the winner is........

Erika from BioArtGal

Congratulations Erika, and please contact me with your postal address so I can send you the stamps. I'm sorry I can't send a stamp set to each of the ladies who entered. But thanks for joining in!

Today I have another journal spread. I painted the face in shades of blue with some green, using Gelatos, Mermaid Markers and sharpies.  She looks like a mermaid again! The background was painted with water-colours, sprayed, spritzed, sprinkled and splattered. The stars were stenciled. I am linking to Simon Monday Challenge, sprinkled and splattered, and to Paint Party Friday:

And I have a digital tag for our landmarks challenge at Tag Tuesday. You can see Big Ben again and Nelson's Column, but for me the guards, buses and beefeaters are walking (rolling) landmarks! You still have plenty of time to join our challenge. I used elements from Serif:

There were more people and booths at the market now it's not so hot:

Some photos from my balcony. A lot of plants have started to recover and are enjoying the cooler and rainy weather:

And some sunrise photos:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

    1. Valerie Valerie I learned rainbow chard is just a mix of different coloured chard, not a separate variety.

What a beauty you created. And that tag for London is stunning. I really want to visit there some day and see where my grandmother's ancestors came from.

SO glad to read it is cooler there for you now, and the flowers and plants on your balcony are reviving, too. Lovely photos today, too.

  6. I love your blue lady painting she is a real beauty. The London tag looks awesome as well.
Super photos of the market and your flowers look so good on your balcony. All my summer flowers died off we couldn't keep them going, at least we had a bit of rain and that will help the grass.

  8. Cool tag-London is a special place. And I love the blue lady. I think she is mermaid coming up to to moonbathe under the stars. She has a romantic look to her. Its nice that you've finally cooled off. We finally didn't have rain today but there's still a bit of humidity. Lots of my veggies in my veggie garden are rotting right on the vine. And I emailed you my address. Enjoy your cooler temperatures. Hugs-Erika

  25. First off, I'm glad the temperatures have gotten more moderate there. It's still in the low nineties here, but they don't call it HOTlanta for nothing. :)

Your mermaid is a beauty, and if I'd made a collage of the things I associate with London, it would've included all the things you put in that piece of art. Lovely work, as always.

And you KNOW I love those sunrise pics. Just beautiful... and peaceful.

    Have a wonderful weekend.
