Thursday/Friday post

Hi Everybody!

Just a short post today, time has run away from me and at the moment I can't run after it!

Today I have another A3 mixed media piece meant for Elizabeth's  'What's your style' challenge at AJJ and for Paint Party Friday. I gave my girl a touch of Klimt today:

And some thinkies:

David, your ears are okay!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Midweek Post

Hi Everybody!

I must apologize once again for not visiting yesterday, I will catch up today. On Monday afternoon I fell while I was walking and hurt my knee, the one with the 'new' knee. Today it felt worse, and the doctor sent me to another department of the hospital for x-rays. I had to wait for a very long time, and was quite exhausted by the time I got back. Nothing is broken, which is very good news, but I have to rest for a few days, so no more walks till it's better.

Another A3 mixed media painting. I am linking to Elizabeth's what's my style challenge at AJJ:

and thanks a lot for coming by!

T sTands for This, ThaT and The neighbour's caT

Hi Everybody!

Hope you all enjoyed a good weekend and are feeling fit and well for the new week.

This evening we will be celebrating Elizabeth's T sTands for  Tuesday link party, so here a hearty welcome to all of the nice ladies who visit here. At the weekend I painted this A3 picture as my ticket to the party and for Elizabeth's 'what's my style' challenge at AJJ - coffee is always my style. I am also linking to Country View challenges, hearts and flowers:

The photos from Friday's walk make me hopeful for spring:

Some thinkies and funnies:

And not to forget the neighbour's cat:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Weekend Post

Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing us all a happy, safe and stress free weekend! I am feeling less stressed today now that I have most of the examinations done, and enjoyed an afternoon walk today, I will show photos next week!

Today I am sharing another A3 mixed media piece for Elizabeth's what's your style challenge at AJJ. Once again a bird has perched on her shoulder, and she doesn't look at all happy about it. Perhaps David will be able to name the bird for me, another of our Balconia-by-the-Rhine rarities. The quote written under her hair reads 'a life without dreams would be like a bird without feathers':

A few of my bird photos taken at various times:

Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
