T sTands for cappuccino and more

Hi Everybody!

Hope you all have a good, new week! I can't write too much today, I am so shocked by the happenings in Israel. I can never understand why people start off yet another war, once again with many dead on both sides and no end to the terror.

For Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday, which will begin this evening I have some pictures from a couple of weeks back when I was in Düsseldorf with Heike:

The waitress was just bringing our coffees. We had to order via an iPad, although the place was empty. Later on we had breakfast, but I forgot to take photos:

And I have another piece for Neet's In Gear challenge at AJJ. I made this large door hanger some years back, and here I haved mounted it digitally on a dark blue background with lots of gold trim:

Weekend Post

Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing us all a great weekend.

My internet is flackering on and off, so I hope I manage to get my post done. Today was very busy, various appointments, shopping, visited Heike, did some painting and all of a sudden it was evening, it just sort of sneaked up on me. I needed a bit of fun and made a page reminiscent of the childhood books I loved, where the little people lived in spotted toadstools and the world was a happy place:

And I am showing another tag I made for Tag Tuesday. This is  a face I like very much, and I have used it in many pieces:

Thursday/Friday Post - FFO and AFFF

Hi Everybody! 

Today I am showing 2 pieces I made for Lifebook. I am not doing all of the lessons, I don't have the energy for that, I'm just doing those that are fun for me.

The first one was from a lesson by Andrea Gomoll:

I used soft oil crayons and smoothed it down with water:

Then I decided to use another version of the face in this painting, she is now a rather scary looking night sprite:

And something for Nicole:

The heads were made with molds:

A set of gold rimmed tags:

Midweek Post - Steampunk and autumn colours

Hi Everybody!

Today we are starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday, and this time the beautiful Valerie is hosting, That's me! My theme is 'The colours of Autumn'  I hope lots of you will join me in this celebration of autumn colour at Tag Tuesday. I have posted several tags on the TT post, but will show them here one at a time. This was made with a tag which I painted. The leaves were stamped, first the leaves and then the veins. The other embellishments were added digitally:

And I have another steampunk piece for Neet's lovely challenge at AJJ. I used a background I had and added some pieces digitally. The moon is one of my photos, the man on the cog is my great grandfather, and the girl was cut from a magazine and collaged. I like the contrast between 'ancient' and modern here:
