T sTands for 2nd on the 2nd and more

Hi Everybody!
Hope you are all doing well.
I am trying to do less just now, as I tend to do too much and then I get very exhausted again. But it's hard!
Today I have some collaged pieces from 2016 /2017 for 2nd on the 2nd. Collage and painting are always my favourite occupations:

When I grew up in London I saw 'Bill Posters will be prosecuted' everywhere. I thought Bill Posters was a person, and felt very sorry for him:

Here the images were inspired by Enrico Baj:

And here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies of the T Gang who visit for Elizabeth's TsfT, where we share drinks and more:

Some Easter decorations with Tea-pots in the background::

These will be presents for the family that lives above me:

And of course, there is no T Day without drinks:

I made this journal page for Heike using a repurposed photo I took in the Pizzeria:

And some funnies/thinkies:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

New Challenge at Art Journal Journey

Hi Everybody!

Today we are starting a new challenge at AJJ and this  time our hosts are our lovely Bleubeard and Elizabeth .Their theme is:

Recycle, re-use and repurpose

I am  sure we all have loads of stuff we could use for this - I know I have! Cardboard, old envelopes, scraps that are too good to throw away, a few inches of leftover ribbon or lace, journal pages that we started but never finished, cut outs from magazines - you name it, I'm sure we've got it!

Today I am sharing 2 A4 pages, made years back and never finished. Today I gave them some finishing touches and added the little girl and the embellishments - taken from another old journal page  - and pasted them onto a pink, paper tote. It looks a bit crinkly just now, as I took the pics before the glue had dried.

I made a few of these totes a few years back, and I think I will alter more of tthem as I have  so many which need to be used....

I discovered thes pics on my camera, I took them some weeks back and forgot all about them:

TGIF

Hi Everybody!

First of all I would like to thank all you lovely girls who linked to my  anything goes challenge at AJJ, I was overwhelmed by all of the wonderful entries, so many ideas, styles and colours - fabulous! And a big thank you to my teamies who supported me so well.

This is my last entry for AJJ. I started this page a few years back, and last week I finished it, wonders never cease! It's an A4 watercolour and ink sketch, the birds were stenciled:

I love this dog:

And these 3, too:

I am linking to Nicole's FFO and
Gillena's Friday art fun.

I bought this dark chocolate last week. It's very delicious, and it's a bit dearer than others, but  each bar that's sold provides a meal for hungry people:

I will be back tomorrow as we are starting a new challenge with a new host at AJJ.
See you then!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Thursday Post

Hi Everybody!

Just a quick post today, I have an appointment with my neurologist and she is on the other side of town, so I need to get moving!

Today I am sharing a piece made with a magazine cut out, which I collaged and altered. I was thinking about getting older, and the changes it makes in us. I added scraps of paper to one side of her face and hair, and an eye, which looks rather myopic, cut from a drawing I made.  I faded some of the pictures, too - perhaps the feeling of fading away. I am linking to my anyting goes challenge at AJJ:

And some funnies / thinkies:

I will also be linking to Nicole's FFO and
Gillena's Friday art fun

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Midweek Post

Hi Everybody!

This was the view out of my window this morning - thick frost after a very cold night. I'm hoping we soon get sprng back!

And this was yesterday's beautiful sunrise:

And now I would like to show you another of the wonderful birds of Balconia-by-the- Rhine. This is a very shy bird, which is perhaps why so many people haven't spotted it. It's usually called the Fatboy bird. Yes, perhaps an unkind expression, but this bird is fat! He flies once a year to the North Pole and needs the fat to keep him going. His mate is always much smaller and rather dowdy, and prefers to stay home in the nest.

I am hoping that our David, AKA the Bird Man of Ontario, can tell me the latin name of this most interesting specimen.

I can never get enough of sunrise and sunset photos:
