Weekend Post

Hi Everybody!

It's weekend - enjoy! We've had wild, wet and windy weather here for days, but slowly it seems to be getting better, so I hope we have some sunshine. This afternoon it was at least dry, and I went with a friend to a delicious Cafe where we had cocoa and cake, yummy!  I will show photos on monday!

Today I am sharing another piece for Alson's challenge at AJJ, inspired by the German song 'Sternenhimmel' (Starry sky) from Hubert Kah. It's an A3 piece painted with acrylics:

You can hear the music on youtube - not everyone's taste, but I liked it!

Have a great weekend, take care,

Midweek post

Hi Everybody!

It's the middle of the week already - time flies. I got some good news today, I can go home in 2 weeks,  I feel like I have been here forever. Soon I wil be back in my own, messy, arty kitchen!

Today I have another piece to share for Alison's.'play it again, Sam' challenge at AJJ. It is an A3 piece painted with acrylics and acrylic pens for the myriad of dots. I am calling it 'Starry, starry night', and thinking of Vincent van Gogh as well as the song starry, starry night from Don McLean. The words on the tree mean 'Tree of life'

The weather here is wild, wet and windy, so I'm showing some pics from this day 2016:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

T sTands for Tuesday on Monday

Hi Eveybody!

Hope you enjoyed your weekend, and I wish us all a safe and happy week. Today I have another journal page for Alison's 'play it again, Sam'  challenge at AJJ.  My page was made using a first day of issue envelope and stamps to honour Laurel and Hardy. I loved their films as a child. I placed the envelope onto a stenciled background. The pictures right and left were drawn by me and cut out:

This evening we will be starting a new chalenge at Tag Tuesday. Thanks to Wendy for hosting the last challenge and to all who joined in.  My theme is green and blue. You can use just one of the colours, or both. Other colours are okay but blue/green should be predominant. The image is from Gecko Galz:

And this evening we are also celebrating Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party, so  here  warm welcome to all of the nice ladies of the T Gang who visit.
I went to a cafe with a friend last week, and we enjoyed coffee (decaf for me!) and cake:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
