Under my skin

Hi Everybody!
Today it's cold, grey and damp outside, so I'm pleased
to be back home again in my warm flat and have some
'playtime'.

For Paint party Friday I have an A3 journal page
another  of 'my' heads to share - okay, sometimes
I have a strange sense of humour. I am also linking
to Simon Wednesday Challenge, anything goes:

And for Wendy's lovely theme at Tag Tuesday -
anything goes with some lime green - I have a
tag made for my neighbour's birthday on Friday. He
doesn't read my blog, so it won't spoil the
surprise for him! Mr UM is going on safari again -
I still have a huge stack of animal print card to
use up!

After we the indoor ski-resort last week we went to
Knechsteden, a cloister Church from the middle ages.
After we go out of the car we saw this flock of
friendly - and hungry - sheep in an old orchard:

The old gate house:

The man standing at the front was singing. The church has
an excellent acoustic, but his performance was such
that I was glad when it was over!

Ancient frescoes:

And yesterday we had a nice sunrise before the sky
clouded over:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Stars and some creatures of the deeps

Hi Everybody!

Today I am sharing a tag meant for Simon Monday Challenge
Star light star bright. The background is some icy,
silver card I found in my stash. I tore small pieces of
blue, painted paper and doilies any layered them
to make the foreground. I sewed it all together.
The trees were made with a hero arts die and the deer
with a Martha Stewart punch. The metallic stars
are from my stash.

I used star-dust stickles to add some sparkle:

And now for the last photos from the Aquazoo:

I loved watching these creatures of the deep:

The lobster has a beautiful colour:

 The octopus was really cool:

I was standing looking into this aquarium, and couldn't see
anything. Then the crocodile swam over and started
looking at me - I'm very glad there was glass between us:

More beautiful fossils:

Have a great day take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by

T stands for coffee and cake

Hi Everybody!

Tomorrow we are beginning a new challenge at
Tag Tuesday, and our lovely Wendy will be hosting for the
next 2 weeks. Her theme is
*anything goes - include some lime green*
As always, you have 2 weeks to link to us, and
tags of all formats are welcome.

I made a  tag using a Sizzix
gingerbread-man die and some candy-striped DP.
As always, a little bit of sewing was used to hold
the layers together. A friend visited today, and liked
the tag, so now it has a new home:

Today is also Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday,
so here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies
of the T gang.

This is the nice cake-breakfast we enjoyed at the indoor
ski resort. G had the latte and the apple cake, the
cappuccino and mixed fruit delight were mine!
The plates are decorated with edelweiss flowers:

Some more photos of the 'alpine village', showing more
of the restaurants and bars:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
