Hi Everybody!

Today we are starting a new challenge at Moo Mania and More -

Famous people.

Can you guess who I chose?

As always, projects of all formats are accepted and you have 2 whole weeks to get your imagination going and to link up to us. I made a hybrid collage page to show my famous person, with lots of sights of London, my favourite town.

For Tag Tuesday, our theme was 'ornate' (YUCK!) so I used a lovely image from Gecko Galz, which was already shaped as an oval, pasted it onto some recycled card, and added pearls and gem-stones. Ornate but quick!

And here are the last of the blue sky photos, with more ships (especially for Elizabeth), and more gulls.

I am not the only one who likes to watch the ships!

Laughter is the sun....

Hi Everybody!

Today I have an A3 Mixed media page for Art Journal Journey, winter wonderland. The central part was made digitally using a photo as background and a quote from Hugo. Once again I have used the lovely photos from Erika which fits so well to this theme. I mounted it onto an A3 page painted with gesso. - I went round the edges with TH Rock-candy crackle, but it did not crackle -  it'sdisappointing when expensive brands don't

 function as they should. I added some colour with distress ink and some frosty embellishments.

Today is Tuesday, so that means its time for Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday, so here's a big hello to all the T Gang.

I sometimes drink a coffee at The Burghof restaurant next to the castle ruins, a lovely place to be:

And in case you are hungry, perhaps I can tempt you with a slice of apple pie, made with lots of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon:

And perhaps a cup of cappuccino to go with it?

I always have fun playing with my shadow when the sun shines:

The blue skies look good in the shop windows:

The gulls are always out in force just now:

More Frost

Hope your weekend has been enjoyable.

For Art Journal Journey, winter wonderland, I have another hybrid piece. The background is one of my frosty leaves photos. The little girl is a Banksy stencil from Stencilry, the bird one of my photos, and the quote from Robert Frost.

I love watching the world wake up each morning. In the summer I sit outside with my coffee, these days I prefer to stay inside:

The 'suns' are the lights from the airport:

The gulls were all standing like soldiers in a row:

There were, as always, lots of ships passing up and down the Rhine:

The majority are really huge:
