New Challenge at AJJ- Anything Goes

Hi Everybody!

Just a short post from me to show my piece for the new challenge at AJJ, which is

 -Anything Goes-

hosted by Aimeslee.

I made this face before I got so ill, and although I am feeling better, I cannot do too much. This is the second time this year where I have been hospitalized for the same problem, and in three weeks I have to go in again to have a stent removed. For this reason I will be leaving the admins at AJJ. I'm sorry to do this, but there is no other way. And i hope Erika will soon find a replacement so she doesn't has to do so much. I will try to join in challenges here and there, but more is not possible.  And now for my new face:

Some time back I promised to make a friendly face for David, as he doesn't like some of the strange things I  make! And she has silver hair, David, as you are not the youngest any more!

Here's wishing you all well, and I will try to make a post once a week without having a set theme.

Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

  1. I hope this publishes. That is a beautiful face and a wonderful sentiment, Valerie. Personally, I think the girl has a tear coming from her eye, as do I this morning. It was certainly a gut punch. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us using Aimeslee's theme at AJJ, dear friend.

  2. A beautiful face as we move into the most beautiful season of the year.
Focus on yourself and your healing. Others must bear the load for a while then you can return again to doing what you obviously love so much. Healing Hugs, Deb

  13. Oh, take care of yourself. You come first. Do what makes you happy, that's all that matters.
And what a beautiful face! Just love it. Send it to David so he can frame it and enjoy. Ask Andreas to take it to the post office.
I should not order you around, so forgive me.

  14. I am so sorry to hear you have been ill and in hospital. I had no idea, thinking you might be taking a bit of a blog break for fun. Definitely this was NOT for fun. Yes, time to take it easy and get well. I hope this is just a bit of a blip in the action and you will recover fully and soon. Your face is quite lovely!

  22. I am so sorry you are relinquishing your moderatorship at AJJ but can understand it. You have not had the best of health recently and it is a wide decision but i will miss you, you have been so kind with your comments to me. Plus, as you know, I am a real fan of your portraits and this one certainly is a beauty.
Beautiful colouring for her complexion and her hair has those lovely flowers winding through which I always think of a a Valerie trademark. Love the green eye and the little touch with the pearl just beneath.
    Take care Valerie
