Hi Everybody!
Here's wishing us all a great weekend! Take care and have fun. I will be spending Saturday and Sunday at home, so I'm looking forward to that after a stressful week. There's nothing like sleeping in your own bed!
Today I have 2 pieces to share. First of all a hybrid tag for Tag Tuesday where Michele is hosting with the theme of fairies:
And for Erika's seeing red challenge at AJJ I have a digital piece:
Sorry, I couldn't resist using Santa!
Looking for signs of spring:
Some thinkies / funnies:
Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Lovely art and fun thinkies haha. I do love spring flowers. You are good at digital art!
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, Digital is fun!
DeleteThe garden fairy is cute. My fairy tag is getting posted tomorrow. And I think I need to move to Germany because you have green and spring flowers already. Smile. We've had bitter cold today and more tonight. Frown. And I like Santa. I'm glad someone actually used him in some art because he is the man in red, isn't he? Enjoy your weekend at home, and don't let me forget to say thank you for joining my challenge at AJJ again. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika. The weather here is still very mixed, but nothing like yours - and we have spring flowers and buds everywhere, so lovely! Have a great weekend! Hugs!
DeleteIt must be wonderful to be back home for the weekend. Perhaps you can get more sleep too. I love your art, and the awesome photos too
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend hugs Kathy
Yes, it's good to be back home for the weekend, and tonight I can sleep for as long as I want to, and in my own bed! Have a great weekend, hugs!
DeleteLoved your art vj. Your post is a treat to the eyes..
ReplyDeleteThanks Ashok, enjoy your weekend!
DeleteHi Val, good morning! Hope you are feeling better, enjoy your weekend at home. We're looking forward to a quiet weekend here. Love your art and Santa is too funny! Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah. Enjoy your weekend, get some rest! Hugs to you all!
DeleteI am glad to hear that you are going home, Valerie, if only for a weekend. Maybe you can filch some food from the clinic kitchen to tide you over without having to shop and cook! Hopefully you are well enough to get out and enjoy those early portents of spring. It will be a while yet before we experience them but the cardinals are singing from the treetops and that's a positive sign. We bought a coffee maker four months ago and just before we went to Cuba it died, so yesterday I took it back to the store and they gave me a new one. I thought of you, of course, knowing how essential a coffee maker is to both of us! It is already early afternoon in Germany so I hope you are cozy and warm and enjoying coffee, with your feet up. Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteHi David, good to 'see' you again. It's nice to be home, and I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed! My balcony was well visited by the 'maisen' - chikadees who enjoyed their food. I have been painting this afternoon, and this evening I made chicken wings, yummy! Toorrow I am going for a meal with 2 friends, so I didn't need to filch anything! And as you so wisely remarked, we need coffee, and I have plenty of that here! And cookies and chocolate and bananas....Have a great weekend, BIG hugs!xxx
DeleteGood luck with your health and recovery. I hope you enjoy your weekend at home, and I hope you’ll soon be back there full time.

ReplyDeleteThanks Martyna, glad you like it!
DeleteI like that fairy tag a lot. Very pretty. I enjoyed the first meme about "men always being right." Yeah, right, tell me about it. LOL.
ReplyDeleteOf course men are always right - in their minds, anyway....
DeleteNiesamowite i piękne zdjęcia
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteBeautiful tag with your sweet Fairy Valerie and I love the flowers and cute animals tucked in there, hope the blackbird in the background is friendly, gorgeous fun tag..

ReplyDeleteA breath of fresh air seeing all the signs of new life outside.. spring sure is on its way.
Thank you for the smiles, a great start to my day as I prepare to go out and tend to my care duties. Take care Hugs Tracey xx
Thanks Tracey. I wish you a good day with your care duties. Hugs!
Deleteso lovely arts:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy, enjoy your weekend!
DeleteNo, there's nothing quite like your own bed. Unless you need a new mattress LOL. I do like your tag very much. I can't even single out one element I like above the rest because I just love them all. I also like your first two pictures. This so gorgeously atmospheric. There's not much left of the weekend now as it's Sunday. But I hope you have a good day today. Deb in Wales.
ReplyDeleteHi Deb, thanks. My mattress is good! Yes, it's Sunday already. time flies. This afternoon I am meeting up with 2 friends and we are going for a meal, and after that it will be time to go back to the clinic. Have a great day, take care, and stay as well as possible! Hugs!
DeleteNothing like sleeping in your own bed and having your surroundings near when you wake.
ReplyDeleteThe fairy tag is adorable. She is so sweet looking.
Great minds DO think alike. I love your Santa and his black and white frame. I especially like the shadow you created behind the words. Thanks for sharing this with us at AJJ using Erika's theme.
Having trouble getting this to publish.
My bed is much nicer than the one here. This is a good bed, no mistake, but narrow and not so kuschelig!
DeleteI entered Heather's mural again. I hope you can see it now.
ReplyDeleteOkay, off to have a look see!
DeleteHi Val, hope all's well with you. Lovely art as always! I still can't access my blog, I hope I will soon have it back. Hugs, Martha.
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hugs!
DeleteCool dude indeed:) Looks like spring has arrived to your corner of the world. The memes made me chortle.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra! Have a great week!
Deletethank you for joining my challenge Valerie (as you always do so wonderfully), the tag is lovely! and I LOVE red, black, and white so I love that journal page! enjoy resting in your own bed and take very good care! xo
ReplyDeleteThanks Michele!
DeleteMeeting up with friends and sharing a lovely meal is about as good as it gets, a great reason for being home for the weekend. Hopefully this is a portent of many such rendez-vous as we get into the tranquil breezes of spring, with bird song and flowers aplenty. I hope that the doctors will get you tuned up and raring to go. As for me, today is my eightieth birthday, Valerie. I will be giving a presentation on owls. Next weekend I will be leading a group of birders on a weekend in Algonquin Provincial Park. I can still walk ten or more kilometres a day without even breathing hard. I have been lucky. Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteWhat good news to get a weekend at home! I'm absolutely thrilled you get a little getaway! Hopefully, it's the first of many -- or maybe you'll even be home soon. I hope so! Happy weekend -- I hope it was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGreat funnies and beautiful photos Valerie.
ReplyDeleteThe tag is gorgeous, such a pretty fairy and I love how she is holding her dress, just like a little one does. The sun is beautiful and I will try to recreate that one day in a piece in my journal.
What a brilliant idea to do a red Father Christmas page for Erika's challenge, very fitting and such fun.
Take care
Hugs, Neet xx
