Midweek post

Hi Everybody!

Today I have something fishy to share with you again - a mermaid face. Her hair is like seaweed and the fishes swim round her every day. I am linking to Mia's challenge at AJJ and to Rain's TAD:

Some evening photos from my balcony:

The field behind our garden has been left to grow wild - good for the bees:

And some funnies:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Monday Post

Hi Everybody!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Thanks for all the well wishes, I am feeling a bit better, but still very wobbly. My temperature went up to 102°, and I was glad when the fever broke. I tested twice negative for Covid, this was evidently caused by a bad flare up of my auto-immune disease.  And on top of that it has been extremely hot, not my cup of tea! I need to take things easy for a few days,  and I need to limit my computer time and increase my rest time.  Today I am sharing  a sort of A4 comic and am linking to Mia's challenge at AJJ. I used acrylic painst and pens. The little black and gold cats are stick ons:

And  have a tag for my add a diecut challenge at Tag Tuesday, I used my fave Mr Umbrella man. The background was stamped with oxide inks.

And this is my ticket for Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday party which starts this evening:

And some funnies:

Bad hair day?

This could be me when it's so hot:

I will visit you all as soon as I can, perhaps just a little bit more slowly than usual!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by.

New challenge at Tag Tuesday - use a die cut

Hi Everybody!

Today we are starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday, and this time its my turn to host. My chosen theme is 'use a diecut', but apart from that any theme on your tag is good. As always, you have 2 weeks to link your tag to our page, and I hope to see YOU there! I made a Christmas tag - actually I made several -using my deer and Christmas tree dies.  The stars were bought, and I used scraps of a paper lace doily for the 'snow'. The silver background was part of a gift box:

And a snowy photo to match!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

T sTands for Fish and Chips

Hi Everybody!

I enjoyed my long weekend, spent time with a friend, we went out to dinner and apart from that I was really lazy and that was good. I will try to catch up with comments in the next couple of days.

This evening we will be celebrating Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party, so  here a warm welcome to all of the lovely ladies of the T Gang who vist here.As I said at the beginning, we went out for dinner on Friday evening and I really had fish and chips, what a delight!

This is my lovely friend Heike showing our drinks - we both had alcohol free white beer as usual:

And here it is - a huge plate of fried fish and chips, so delicious:

Heike ate a 'Schweinshaxe', an oven baked pork knuckle served tradtionally with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes:

And I mustn't forget the lovely salad:

Inspired by my wonderful food, I made this painting for Mia's fish challenge at AJJ. I glued pieces of newspaper around the page, as it was traditionally served in newspaper. I didn't have any English newspapers, so had to use my daily paper:

We have had lots of dark clouds in the past days:

My balcony flowers are all blue and yellow:

On one evening I heard the crows all making a huge noise, and looked out of the window and saw a blue heron sitting in the tree, and the crows kept up their mobbing unti the heron flew back to the stream. They have their young in a nearby tree and were evidently worried. Sorry for the bad photos, shaky fingers are not good for making quick photos:

And some thinkies / funnies:

Have a great week, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
