Hi Everybody!

Hope you have all well and truly arrived in the new year! I still have the feeling that I am not quite here or there, but I'm hoping for the best.

Today I have a tag for Sandie's  'Wings' challenge at Tag Tuesday. If you have a few spare minutes, it would be great if you could join in, too! I have a butterfly tag:

And I have a rather strange A3 piece for Erika's 'It's on the calendar' challenge at AJJ. This isn't a calendar, but it has lots of numbers. Amd if you read what's written round the head of the girl on the top right, it might start to make sense. I was just playing around on the cardboard backing from my block of paper ....

Happy New Year - It's on the Calendar

Hi Everybody!

Today we are starting a new challenge at Art Journal Journey, and this time our lovely Erika is hosting and her theme is 'it's on the calendar'. But it doesn't have to be a calendar page or about calendars - it can also be about dates and numbers. Read Erika's description on our AJJ Blog or on Erika's blog and see all of the ideas.

I have made a 12'' square page:

For the background I used an old piece of designer paper from LaBlanche, and added lots of pictures, numerals and letters, mostly from TH. The man with the bowler hat was printed onto book  paper and fussy cut. I added the freebie calendar and the date.

Last Post for 2023

Hi Everybody!

Thanks to all who sent lovely cards and  messages for Christmas and to wish me better. I will take pictures soon and show them. I am feeling a bit better, but still having a lot of pain and problems to walk, but the doc  said it will get better. As long as I can do some painting or crafting each day I feel comforted. When I started painting this face I was planning on something different, but somehow it changed and I ended up with this blue lady and her blue bird, and I like it! This afternoon I am going to gather all of my markers and paint pens, and sort out those which  are dried up or not working any more,  which should help a little bit. We shall see! This will be my last piece for Wendy's 'above us only sky' challenge at AJJ:

Betwixt and Between

Hi Everybody!

Hope you all enjoyed your Christmas celebrations,
and I wish you all a good week.

This was a strange Christmas for me. This is the first time I was not able to do any preparations as Covid flattened me. I didn't bake or make anything - no cookies, Christmas cake, trifle, mince pies - no nothing. Although I must say it is perhaps better for my figure! But I am feeling slowly better, so that's something!

Today I am sharing a mixed media, painted collage made recently. I just had fun doing what I wanted, and this is aways good. As there is also lots of blue sky I am linking to Wendy's  'Only the sky above us' at AJJ:
