Hi Everybody!

It's Friday - yesssssssssssss! This was a stressful week, so I'm happy that I have no appointments at the weekend, and can just do what I want. I think I did too much clearing and cleaning this week, so a weekend break will be welcome.

Today I am linking to Nicole's FFO with some faces, and also to Gillena's Friday Art Fun. Some of my pics are not very clear today, sorry, my hands are very shaky just now. This is a face made a few years back. I put some black paint on an A3 sheet of craft paper, and then drew the vase with soft pastels, and gave it a scary face. This was fun!

I found these heads while cleaning. I made them years ago, and discovered them while cleaning and tidying:

This is an old box made from some sort of metal. It was probably a cheap trinket for those who couldn't afford to buy a better quality. The picture is printed on to oil-paper, which is very fragile after so many years. I keep my old coins in it. The box is dated 1784:

Midweek Post

Hi Everybody!

I had a busy day today and did some much needed clearing, cleaning and organising. Now I have most of my paintings together in one place in my storage cupboard , and was then able to move a lot of clothes into the chest of drawers - and they´now look clean and tidy! This freed up a lot of space in my closet and I can now actually find things as they are nor buried under piles of other things. And I was astonished at how many Jeans, socks, pullovers etc I have....what a surprise! And this afternoon I did some painting and then it was feet-up time!

Today I have an A3 piece to share, which I started some years back and finished today - I found dozens of unfinished pieces while I was tidying so now I have plenty to do. Some years back I made a series of  Amedeo Modigliani 'knock - offs' and today I finished this one - the portrait of Madame Kisling. The pics are not good, It's very dark and wet here today and if I put the lights on they will be even worse! The flowers were not part of the  original concept, but they were flying around on my desk and I decided to use them:

T sTands for sTripes, doTs and sTress

Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing us all a good new week!

Today I am sharing a face with lots of dots, diamonds and colours - crazy, but I like it! I have made a few like this and will show them bit by bit, things are just rather stressful just now. This was painted with acrylics onto an A3 page:
