Tuesday Post

Hi Everybody!

Today I have another A3 mixed media piece to share, which will perhaps make some people shudder. I was trying to use up more UFAMTOs from my desk - unidentified flying around my table objects. So I collaged them here, and if you don't like beetles etc it may be hard to look at, but I had fun putting all these disparate objects together. I don't know what types of birds or beetles they are, perhaps David will know! The words and images were cut from various magazines, except for the birds, which were part of a paper napkin.  I am always surprised by the variety of types used in magazines - much too good to throw away! I am linking to Neet's type challenge at AJJ:

I am sharing some pictures of a visit to Eindhoven in Holland before Corona times. Blogger has completely reversed the order of the photos, sorry!
Some of the shops we visited had jazzy decorations:

Lots of bikes outside the station:

St Catherine's Church:

A peaceful courtyard where we had coffee - what else?

Old houses which I liked much more than the modern ones:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

T sTands for Tag Tuesday on Monday

Hi Everybody!

This evening we will be starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday, and this time Wendy is our host and has chosen seashells as her theme. Thanks to all who entered Michele's challenge, and to Michele for hosting. Our blog goes live Monday evening at 9 p.m.

I made a tag using Botticelli's beautiful painting 'The Birth of Venus' and added a few embellishments. The text was added digitally:

And I have another collage with one of my strange faces inspired by Karen O'Brien. I am linking to Neet's type challenge at AJJ:

This evening we will also be celebrating Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party, so here a warm welcome to all of the lovely ladies of the T Gang who visit here.

These photos were taken in Neviges 2 years ago. We had some refreshments in a huge flea-market/cafe/restaurant in the old town there:

The cappuccino was not second hand:

On the way back we visited a 'Heimat Museum',  (Heimat  = home, environment) which had a huge collection of things people had in their homes in days gone by. And I still have some of these pieces in use:

And a few funnies:

Have a great day, take care,
ad thanks a lot for coming by!
