New challenge at Tag Tuesday

Hi Everybody!

Hope your week got off to a good start!

Today we are staring a new challenge at Tag Tuesday, and this time our lovely Michele is hosting with the theme
-Faery Garden-
As always, you have 2 weeks to link to us, and tags of all formats are welcome. Hope to see YOU there!
Michele made 2 beautiful and inspiring tags which you can see on our blog.

I made a magical, winter scene:

Some walking pictures:

I found the first snowdrops, but no snow:

Some green in a neighbour's garden:

And I saw another coypu/muskrat by the old mill in Kalkum:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

T sTands for no Time

Hi Everybody!

Have a good and safe week. When I went into the clinic I thought I would have more time for painting and crafting, but here the time flies past just as quickly as it did before!

This evening we are beginning Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party, so here a warm welcome to the lovely ladies of the T Gang who visit here.

Today I am sharing some hybrid pieces, made with a mix of digital elements, photos, paintings and drawings:

And some pics from Sunday breakfast at the clinic:

On Saturday I baked a huge boiled fruit cake, which was enjoyed by all:

More clouds and water fowl, taken on various days:

Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Weekend Post

Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing us all a good and peaceful weekend. I hope those of you living in the USA are feeling safe again after that terrible and unprecedented attack on the Capitol, which was a threat to the home of democracy and affects us all. I hope something like that will not happen again.

Today I am sharing another tag made for Pinky's numbers challenge at Tag Tuesday:

Today I am sharing some paintings from a local artist, Ferdinand Paethel, shown at an exhibition in our little library. Only one painting is not of Düsseldorf, I think you will notice which one:

Panorama from the Rhine, where many sights have been re-arranged to fit into one picture:

The view from Königs Allee towards Schadow Strasse:

The Altstadt (old town):

The Gehry Houses in the old harbour:

Saint Lambertus Church with the crooked spire and the lantern parade on St Martin's Day:

A street café:

Along the Düssel, the stream which gave Düsseldorf its name:

I think you can guess this one:

Another part of the stream:

And last but not least, our library:

Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
