It is only with the heart....

Hi Everybody!

Recently I bought this canvas  shaped like a heart (approx 12" x 12")  and decorated it. The background was given a coat of gesso and then brayered with a mix of powder blue and pink, using a dot stencil to add some texture. I used various textile flowers combined with some dried roses and seed pods etc. I used Frantage vintage gold EP to emboss the edges. The quote is from Antoine de Saint- Exupery.  I am linking to Rhedd's creative spirit, Paperbabe challenge, dots and  Eclectic Ellapu, anything goes.

We have been having some cold and windy weather, but the sky is blue and the sun is shining:

Time is flying, as always, and tomorrow, Tuesday, we will be starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday, hosted by our lovely and talented Michele. The theme she has chosen is 'Use a quote'. Tuesday is also Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday party, so here a warm welcome to all of the nice girls of the T Gang.

Last week I went with my buddies G and N to a Chinese restaurant near here. It is a huge place, and although it was almost empty when we went in, it soon filled up with people enjoying the midday buffet - all you can eat for 8.90€. And they had a 15% discount running, so we paid even less. The food was varied and good, and we enjoyed filling our plates at the buffet and eating it!  My drink was diet coke, I needed to save a few calories.... G had normal Coke and N a green tea, served in a pretty pot:

A Tangle Fish

Hi Everybody!

Today it's cold, grey and cloudy outside, so I'm having a fun day at home. I was out nearly all day yesterday, went for a meal and then did some shopping with friends, but will write more about that on Tuesday.

Today I have an A3 zentangle piece to share. Yes, it's huge! I have been doing a lot of doodling lately, especially when I'm at my group. It keeps me busy and I can still chat with the others....

The river is still rather full, and will probably stay so the next couple of weeks as there is more snow, sleet and rain on its way:
