Flowers and more

Hi Everybody!

For Paint Party Friday, hosted by Eva and Kristin, I am sharing an 18 x 24"
paint pouring canvas made a couple of months back. I was
intending to alter the red flower on the left, as I wasn't
happy with it, but haven't got round to doing it yet.
Perhaps I will alter it one of these days, who knows? I added some
micro-beads to the centres of the flowers:

The moon was surrounded by an icy halo yesterday evening:

Pastel colours to start the day:

And a visit from Mr Heron:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

2nd on the 2nd on the 1st

Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing you a good,  new month.
The leaves are falling fast here, some trees are almost
bare. The nights are growing longer, and it's getting
colder. Winter is stretching out its cold fingers, so I'm trying to
hold on to the warm colours of autumn as long as possible.

Tomorrow is '2nd on the 2nd' at Elizabeth's blog,
where we share a previous post. This one is from 2014.
I have chosen a canvas showing some of my ancestors.
I chose a vintage style, and used crackle glaze  to age some
of the pictures. Others were given a coat of milky glaze
to make them look far away and faded. I used fussy cut photos
and photo  transfers done with Golden gel interspersed with
scraps of letters:

For Sandie's 'Book-print' challenge at Tag Tuesday I have a hybrid
tag using various elements from Serif, Mischief Circus and me.
I used scraps of book print combined with figures from
children's books, who have emerged out of the story:

And some picture of autumn before it disappears:

I love watching the moon:

Beautiful skies:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

T stands for Book-prinT

Hi Everybody!

On Tuesday we are starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday,
and Sandie, our new teamie is hosting with the great theme of
book print. Hope to see lots of you joining in to give her
a good start off. Tags of all formats are allowed,
and you have 2 weeks to link to us.
Have fun, and hope to see you there!
I made a large tag from recycled black card from an old
calendar, which I stenciled with golden stars. The houses
and the moon were fussy cut from vintage German book-print.
After sewing it to a golden card for the backing I used ribbon
and stars as embellishments.

Today is also T stands for Tuesday at Elizabeth's blog, so welcome
to all of the nice ladies of the T gang.
A friend of mine recently bought a selection of
Spekulatius - very delicious spiced cookies which are popular
here especially in the winter season. The pastry is pressed into
moulds to make the lovely figures. Help yourselves!

 My drink is cappuccino again:

When we were in Südpark we had a rest by the lake and the ducks and
geese came zooming in to see if we had anything good in our pockets;

The Egyptian wild geese were the quickest:

These 2 tried to steal bread from a little boy sitting in his buggy:

I'm waiting....

Where is it?

We saw this head nailed to a garage on our way to the restaurant -
tastes are different:

The frog fountain was in the garden of the restaurant where we ate:

And no, I didn't try kissing it....

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
