Hi Everybody!
It's Friday already! This has been a busy week with lots
of appointments, so I'm looking forward to some
rest over the weekend.
For Go Tag Thursday, in the garden, for Mixed Media Monthly,
altered embellishments and Stamps and stencils I made a large Mixed Media tag.
The substrate is recycled mdf from the back of an old
drawer. It was grounded with
gesso and then painted with Titan Buff. I added some
stenciling using clear paste. The edges were distressed with
oxide inks ancient linen and wild honey. The Paris image is
a paper napkin. The Rose was made with plaster
of Paris in a silicone biscuit mold from the Euro shop,
as was the wing. They were both painted and distressed with DIs
and then given a coat of crackle glaze. The feathers, leaves
lace and small rose are all from my stash. I spritzed it all
with some white acrylic paint to finish it off.

For Paint Party Friday, and Simon Monday Challenge
red, white and/or blue
I have an A3 mixed media journal page, made using acrylic
sprays on a gessoed BG with Dina Wakley stencils. I collaged
them onto the page to make a positive/negative effect:
And I have the penultimate installment of photos from Zons:
The shops were mostly selling 'quaint' stuff:
But I did like these frogs, and the stone sculpture with the fossils:
Medieval street art!
I loved the rugged bricks and stones in the walls:
Lots of plants and grasses were growing there:
And the arches made a good place for the garbage bins -
brown is for things which can be composted, yellow for plastic and tin,
and green for paper and cardboard:
Have a great weekend you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
