2nd on the 2nd on the 1st

Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing us all a good, peaceful and productive

month of April. I hope spring soon comes to

those who are still having issues with 

winter weather.

Elizabeth has a link up on the 2nd of each month where

we show things that we have already shown before. As she is

also concerned with the Earth this month, I am showing

a couple of recycled boxes made 2 years back from small, round

cheese boxes, as I always have problems throwing

them away. I used either natural materials for

decorating them, or embellishments which had

been rescued from old projects:

Almost Friday already

Hi Everybody!

Another week has flown by and it's almost weekend,

and time for Paint Party Friday.
I'm also linking to Art Journal Journey, Yvonne's lovely theme
of out and about.

I'm sharing another piece made this week at

art group. Our theme was 'Glück' - happiness.

I made an A3 mixed media collage, inspired by the

view from my window, which always makes me happy. 

The BG was gessoedand painted, as was the sun. 

I added more colours with

pastel chalks. Picasso's woman and the world were

collaged.

This and That on Wednesday

Hi Everybody!

Hope you are all well and fit. We are still enjoying warm, spring

days with blue skies and blossoms bursting out everywhere,

a beautiful season indeed.

This A3 mixed media piece was made at my art group. I painted the BG with gesso and sand coloured paint, which I textured with a brayer. The tulips were added with a napkin, and the dots and spots with a stencil and crapp red. 

The German text means: The two  things which give 

the soul the most strength  are trust in the truth and trust in one's self.

We had some great sunrise scenes this week, and my fave is

always the half hour before the sun goes up -a great time

to drink a cup of coffee and watch the beauty unfold:
