Hi Everybody!
Hope you all had a good week. Time still seems to be running too fast, and sometimes I can't keep up with myself. But I'm trying! I have been trying to paint every day, and that does me good. I have finished an altered book, which I will show another time, and am showing some of the things I have posted lately on Facebook. And I was very moved by all of the comments you lovely people left on my blog last week. Thanks from the bottom of my heart!:
This has been painted on a recycled canvas, about 16" square. I have recycled quite a lot of them which were gathering dust, and am changing them into portraits of strong women. I am creating lots of texture and adding left over scraps for collage:

DeleteI love all these colours and textures, some more than others, wonderful paintings, I still can't paint a thing, cant even draw a straight line, fabulous Valerie, keep on keeping on a the saying goes it is great that you can paint a little bit every day and looking forward to your book..
