Monday / Tuesday Post

 Hi Everybody!

The weekend went by too quickly again. I had so much I wanted to do, but as usual didn't manage  half of it. It has turned really cold just now, and as my flat is not well insulated, it's cold inside, too, and that makes me want to stay in bed for half of the day..... But I did at least get some things done, and spent some quality time with friends and we laughed a lot, which was great.

Today I have a mix of funnies, thinkies and photos:

This face was made a long time ago, but I can't get my new things up, sorry. Bloger sometimes makes us little problems!

Look at the chickens since the price of eggs has gone up so much!

And I LOVE these 2 beauties:

And I have some coffee for Elizabeth's TsfT tomorrow.  There are some coffees to be seen in the above pictures, too. This one was taken on my balcony:

Have a great start to the new week, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

  4. the cold seems to have come earlier, and like you I just don't want to get up. I want to stay where I'm warm and cosy. I don't even want to bring my hands out from under the covers to type or to hold a hot drink. I am convinced my medication makes me feel the cold more too. Time was I'd have been up and at 'em, two pair of socks, thermal layers, and a body warmer and out the door enjoying the Autumn sunshine and not feeling the cold at all. I hope you can get blogger to play nicely soon! So frustrating. Hugs, Deb

    1. Yes the cold has come early and suddenly, and bed is really a great place to be. I'm glad I have lots of warm clothes and covers! Blogger is really a pain in the whatsit!
      Have a great week, hugs!

  6. Blogger’s mission in life is to lull you into a false sense of security and have you thinking that everything is going well, and then prove you dead wrong! It’s an immutable law, I think! Staying in bed during a cold spell seems like a good idea, Valerie, but you don’t get much done that way. At least you spent time with friends and laughed together and that’s always a good things. Maybe you should have had some of the friends crawl in bed with you. Then you could have kept each other warm and still laughed! Tomorrow is election day in the United States, so the news is consumed with it, even here. I will be glad when it’s over and done with, and ai hope that soon we will be referring to President-elect Harris. Some people seem to have raised her to the level of minor deity, but she is a politician let’s not forget. She has already changed her mind on fracking, or at least her stated opinion, much to my disappointment, has gone strangely silent on her opposition to the death penalty and is quick to let us know she owns a gun. A turnip would be better than Trump, however, and she has my full support and best wishes. Stay warm, drink coffee, hug Heike, laugh often, walk when you can. Hugs and kisses - David

    1. Now why did I never think of taking my friends to bed for a warm up!? Perhaps it wouldn't be such a good idea, my bed is not that big! Yes, I am very excited about this election, and my BIG hope is that DT doesn't become president. I don't know much about Ms Harris but she must be better than DT! A turnip would definitely by better that DT, but I like turnips, they are good veggies! I hope you and Miriam have a good week, stay fit and well, hugs, xxxxxxxxxx

  7. I love the funnies and memes. Big smiles. I know what you mean by the cold. I find myself often sitting with the heating pad on my lap, even at my desk!

  9. That clock eyed lady is "timed" perfectly for us changing the clocks here in the US. And that calf and those donkeys stole my heart. Oh those faces. Sounds like you had a good weekend. I did yard work and read most of mine, so yours sounds better. :) hugs-Erika

    1. Our clocks went back some days ago, now the long, dark evenings are there! Yes, the donkey and calf pictures are lovely. Yard work is not my thing, but reading, yes. At the moment I am listening to my books as I am having problems with my eyes. Hugs!

  11. Great funnies as usual. I understand your feeling with the house being cold. That is why we go to Florida in the winter.

  12. Hi Valerie, pleased you liked the card instructions. It's only when we get to see how these things are made that we realise how easy they actually are and so many bloggers are unwilling to share the instructions. I am truly in love with your lady this week, don't care how old she is. But the donkeys! well they made me smile the most they are so sweet. Take care and hope Blogger behaves better soon. Hugs Angela xXx

  13. I meant to come by sooner, but I'm simply unable to sit and type 1 handed for very long. I am glad I'm not the only one who blogger is messing with. It is frustrating as heck and I feel for you.

I love your timely lady. I also love the donkeys. Such sweet faces. Had a laugh at the chicken.

I finally had to put clothes on. It got cold here, too. I can empathize.

Love the mug with the dolphin and I really enjoyed your coffee memes. Thanks for joining us for T this Tuesday, dear Valerie.

  14. The weather here is strangely warm. This afternoon it was almost the same indoors and outdoors (and we have the heating set at a comfortable temperature). In a way, it’s creepy that November is so warm, but I’ll avoid thinking of the reason why. I hope you soon warmup inside your house.

  18. Great funnies and 'thinkies'. And I love your 'time' lady. Its has started to get cold here too, especially in the evenings. I have lit my stove once or twice this week. I'm sorry you're feeling so cold in your house. Bed is always the warmest place, or on the couch in front of the tv with a blanket/duvet around you.
    Happy T-Day,
