Hi Everybody!
On Sunday it's Mother's Day, so I'd like to wish a happy one to all mums out there. I am re-showing a piece made last year showing my mum as a little girl:
At Tag Tuesday our theme is 'Baby love', and the theme covers everything about mothers and babies, whether animal or human. I made a hybrid tag showing some of the delightful young birds that can be seen everywhere just now:

ReplyDeleteGreat photos too and especially love the wisteria (our neighbour's overhangs our garden and is not yet in full bloom) and the chestnut horse which is such a lovely colour.

A well deserved recall of your beautiful artwork showing your dear Mother, *Happy Mother's Day* to all who are celebrating, as you may know we in the UK celebrate ours in March but where ever in the world it's always good to give Thanks to ALL Mother's.

Gorgeous pieces Valerie, both of them! Just yesterday we were discussing with my son whether Mothers day is something that is celebrated outside of the Anglo Saxon world? I never heard of it while I lived in Germany. And of course here in the UK we celebrated it in March already.... Anyway, lovely summery photos too. Wet and rainy here today sadly....

I think it is only in England that Mother's Day is celebrated in Lent, the rest of the world seems to be celebrating today.

I am glad you re-showed that piece because it is really lovely and a great tribute to your Mom. I also love your tag and all the baby birds-which is quite appropriate for today also. :) I need to get busy and make my tag, as I know what I want to do, but today was so nice I spent most of the day outside working in the garden. :) I hope you had a fabulous day yourself-are those wisteria still blooming?
