More wonderful art

Hi Everybody!

Be happy -  the weekend is here - have a good one!

For Art Journal Journey, Indian Summer, I have another
A3 mixed media page, with collage, stamping and doodling on a brayered background. I am also linking to Paint Party Friday:

And I have some more photos from my museum visits, from the K20 again:

Paul Klee

Wassily Kandinski:

Juan Gris:

 Ernst Ludwig Kirchner:

Emil Nolde:

Max Beckmann:

Robert Rauschenberg:

Georges Braque:

Juan Gris:

This is, once again, just a small selection of the paintings there,
I am still overwhelmed!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Wonderful art

Hi Everybody!

After visiting the K20 art museum yesterday,  I visited
the K21 today, which shows art of the 21st century.
I saw a lot of fun things there, and although not everything was
to my taste, it was really interesting. It is housed in a wonderful
old building, which has been beautifully modernised and adapted. I
will show photos in the next days.

For Art Journal Journey, Indian Summer, and for
Paint Party Friday, hosted by Eva and Kristin, I have an A3
mixed media piece. The background was brayered, stamped and collaged, using
various pieces stamped on tissue, and 2 of 'my' men, who were stamped with various quotes. I added some feathers found by the castle moat.

And now for the wonderful art - some of the paintings I was able to see yesterday at the K20:

Andy Warhol:

Gilbert and George:

Andreas Gursky:
And I'm in the picture too....

A fun installation by Lawrence Weiner:

Paul Klee (with my shadow again!):

Pierre Bonnard:

Amadeo Modigliani:

Paul Klee again:

Franz Marc:

I will show more bit by bit as I get the photos sorted, but it was wonderful
to be there. Even better, I have a season ticket for the rest of the year
and can go as often as I want to to see more....and there is lots more there to see!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Enjoying Autumn

Hi Everybody!

I had a fun day today, with a visit to the K20 art museum here,
showing art of the 20th century. It was fantastic, and I will show photos
when I have sorted them

For Art Journal Journey, Indian Summer, I have 2 projects. The first is a hybrid piece, using a collaged background with printed and written papers, some digital add ons and my balcony blackbird:

These pages are in my 'new' journal, just using up scraps combined with a painted background, stamping and some pieces of paper napkins:

This morning when I went out the ducks were holding an 'indignation meeting'
by the stream:

Then I saw why - the heron was there, and they don't like him.
Too much competition?

The autumn colours contrasted with the grey and misty sky:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
