T sTands for This and That

Hi Everybody!
Hope you all had a good weekend. I enjoyed staying home, drinking coffee, reading and painting, and it was good and relaxing. This evening Elizabeth will start celebrating her drink and link party, so here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies of the T Gang who visit here. For those who don't know, my drink is coffee:

FFO and AFFF

Hi Everybody,

Hope you are all well and fit, and especially that Nicole has recovered from her operation.I have a cold and cough, and hope it is soon gone.

Today I'm starting with a new face made this week. I had the cardboard backing from a drawing block hanging around, and there was already some gold paint on it and some patterns, I must have started it many years ago! I am linking to Nicole's FF0 and Gillena's AFFF

I started by scribbling some words, stamping with a script stamp and  adding some diluted colour round the edges:

I added the colours with prismalo coloured pencils which were later activated with a wet brush to spread and intensify the colours:

I also added some pieces of scrap paper which were swimming around on my table, and some words cut from Shakespeare's ' A Winters Tale'

And it looked nice in my fruit bowl

Midweek post

Hi Everybody!

Hope you are all well and fit and having a good week. Here it's cold and windy, but okay, it's November! Today I had a lot of appointments, but they all went well, and then I went shopping with my lovely neighbour. Later on I need to  clear out and clean my fridge, and then it will be feet up time!

Today I have another hybrid journal page for Jo's  nature challenge at AJJ. The background was painted, the photo on the right was a freebie from the Graphics Fairy, and the other birds are my photos:

And I have a new mug. It looks quite ordinary here:

You can fill it with lots of cappuccino:

And when you're drinking a little head pops up:

And as you drink more, you can see more and more of the lovely cow:

What a lucky cow, she can bathe in coffee and cappuccino:

And this was in our newspaper today - Father Elias blesses 4 legged creatures:

Once a year dogs ( and other small animals) can come to a service in the church and then they all get blessed:

As our pets are really family, and sometimes behave better than some people,  I like this idea! I'm not sure what the dogs etc think about it!
