Midweek Post

Hi Everybody!

Today I am sharing a piece inspired by Eulalia Mehija's lessson in the Art Soul Gathering. I used an A3 brush-wipe page with lots of blues as my background. The red love bird in the middle is flying to the rainbow, and the other birds are already flying high. Sorry about the bad pics, I'm blaming my fingers! I am linking to Neet's fur or feathers challenge at AJJ:

I took these pics along the Rhine this morning. The river is still very low, and we have wide 'beaches'. 'They' keep promising rain, but it's not arrived yet!

The stream is more like a puddle!

Some funnies/thinkies:

and thanks a lot for coming by!

New Challenge at TIOT and....

Hi Everybody!

Today we are starting a new challenge at Try It On Tuesday - TIOT-and the theme this time is animals. They can be real or imaginary ones, and projects of all formats are allowed and welcome.  As usual you have 2 weeks to link to our blog. I am also linking to Neet's challenge at AJJ, as elephants are hairy and have fur in their ears. I made another elephant, this time a hippie elephant surrounded by flowers, and singing, 'If you are going to San Francisco....'

And this wonderful photo fits well:

Today we are also starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday, and this time our lovely Wendy is hosting and roses is her theme. She has made some lovely examples on our blog. I made a hybrid piece, put together using photos,
 and painted backgrounds, digitally combined:

And some thinkies- funnies:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
