Tuesday Post

Hi Everybody!

Today I have another piece for Tracey's challenge at AJJ, the colours of October. This was made with various scraps from one of my bit boxes- I sewed it onto a craft-paper background, but my machine was very uncooperative, and there are more holes than stitches. The stamps of the little girls are from Crafty Individuals:

And I have another piece for the LB Tasters, inspired by the wonderful lesson from Emma Pettit. This is not my usual style, but it's good to do things outside the 'comfort zone':

And some pics from my walks:

The flowers in the fields are still blooming:

I walked through the woods and then to the lake:

I love these paths:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

T sTands for a new challenge at Tag Tuesday

Hi Everybody!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Here the weather was cold, but with some blue skies on Saturday, and dry enough to go for good walks, and I made the most of it! It's a lovely time of year to be out and about through the fields and woods, and I enjoyed it very much .

Our challenge at Tag Tuesday is being hosted this time by our lovely Michele, and she has chosen All Hallow's Eve as her challenge so it's time to get out your broomsticks and cauldrons and magic some wonderful tags for it. As always our challenge runs for 2 weeks and tags of all formats are welcome!  In my tag I have lots of colourful ideas in my head and am ready for the witching night. Our challenge goes live at 9 pm:

And I have a mixed media journal spread in autumn colours which I am linking to Tracey's  October colours challenge at AJJ:

This evening we  will also be celebrating Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday link party, so here a warm welcome to all of the T Gang who visit here. My drink is, as always, coffee, and I have a picture of the huge coffee calendar I bought. The Dentist charged less than I was expecting, so I went straightaway to the book shop and bought my  HUGE calendar.  Yesssssssss!

And I can offer you a slice of plum and almond crumble and a cup of cappuccino:

The repairs on the street are still ongoing. Lots of broken pieces which have been removed:

They are digging out a trench through the middle of the road for the drainage pipes:

They still have a long way to go!

Some photos from my walks:

Here you can see the garbage containers - blue is for paper, yellow is for tins and plastic, and black is for everything else. Some people also have ones with a brown lid, and they are for  things which can be composted:

And some memes:

Congratulations to all who are still there at the end of this loooong post!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
