Midweek post

Hi Everybody!

We've had heaps of snow, freezing rain, ice and very cold temps here this week, and to top it all the Rhine is flooding! Apart from that, everything's fine!

Today I have a hybrid piece to share, a Buddha painting superimposed onto a photo of a dilapidated wall. The text was added digitally. I am linking to my 'heavy metal' challenge at AJJ. I used lots of gold and bronze paint:

Last week we had a few mild but cloudy days:

Then it started to rain:

The snow and flood pics are still in my camera, I will show them soon!
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Hearts, rust and more

Hi Everybody!

Today I have another journal page for my heavy metal challenge at AJJ.

The background was hand painted, the heart was cut from a rusty photo, and the embellishments are from Serif and were added digitally:

And I have more photos from Burg Linn.

After leaving the castle we walked through the village belonging to it:

We enjoyed the well kept allotments:

A riding stable:

A heavy metal fountain:

I love the old mill paddle-wheels:

Not a white unicorn but a beautiful, white horse!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

T sTands for a new challenge aT Tag Tuesday

Hi Everybody!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

This evening we are starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday. This time I am hosting and my theme is black, white and one other colour. Tags of all formats are welcome, and as always, you have 2 weeks to link to us. Hope to see lots of you joining in! I have made a Frida tag, I stamped the image and added the flowers, heart and text digitally:

Today is also time for Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link parTy, so here a warm welcome to all of the lovely ladies of the T Gang who visit here. Today I am sharing some photos 'from the good old times', taken at a coffee shop in the old Harbour in Düsseldorf:

Brewing the coffee is taken very seriously by the barista:

A little work of art:

Next door they were offering coffee to go:

The TV tower has disappeared in the mist:

Different coffees to choose from - I chose desert rose!

And I loved this rusty hydrant we saw on the street:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
