Thursday post

Hi Everybody!

Hope your week is going well. I have a lot to do just now, but this evening I'm going to sit down and watch a thriller on TV  the rest will have to wait!

I have another tag for Sandie's anything goes/Christmas challenge at Tag Tuesday, this time with birds:

And I have an altered photo journal page for Tracey's 'The meaning of'' challenge at AJJ. One of the things which I find very meaningful is to change photos using  digital additions and texts. This is a snow photo taken of the pigeons in the tree behind the garden, with a snowy filter and a beautiful verse from William Alexander:

Some pics taken in our thrift shop back in 'the good old days':

And my fave time of day!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Midweek post

 Hi Everybody!

Just a quick post today, I have a lot to do this week!

Today I am sharing a face made in one of the extra lessons after the Lifebook taster course. It didn't turn out as I wanted it to, but that's life!

I am linking to Tracey's 'the meaning of' challenge at AJJ

A few photos taken in the evening from my armchair, I didn't want to go out in the cold!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

New challenge at Art Journal journey

Hi Everybody!

Today we are starting a new challenge at AJJ and the lovely and talented Tracey is our guest host, with the theme of 'The meaning of....'.  She explained that she wants to see things we like doing, things which are important to us, whatever they are, and that it's really another name for 'anything goes', which gives us all scope to journal about the things we love, and that's great. As always, you have the whole month to get creative and link to us!

One thing I like doing is creating journal pages with lots of texture in my A3 journal. The paper doll was given to me last year and I decided to build her into my page. I added some gold spots cut from an old gift envelope, stars, and some netting for good measure. The small circles were doodled:

We have also started a new challenge at Tag Tuesday, also anything goes or Christmas, take your pick, and our lovely Sandie is hosting:

Some photos taken late afternoon / early evening with my cell phone while I was out and about, so the quality isn't very good, but it gives you an impression:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
