September 1st - autumn is coming nearer

Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing you all a great September.

I have an autumn tag to share today, which I am linking to Simon Monday Challenge,  fall/autumn. I used a scrap of painted paper to make the background, which was then sewn onto some gold corrugated card. I added leaves picked up on my walks - we already have lots of brown ones due to the hot summer - and glazed and glittered them. I added more scraps and some mini fabric leaves and found feathers. The image is from TH, the broom is from my stash. Is the broom to sweep up the leaves or to remind us that it's not long till Halloween now?

Tomorrow is Elizabeth's 2nd on the 2nd, so here are 2 paintings made three years back. The first was inspired by Van Gogh, with 2 of my fave figures placed in the picture:

And this one was an attempt to copy a Modigliani portrait:

The photos were taken on a walk at the same time as the above paintings were made:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Facing up to time

Hi Everybody!

Hope your week is going well - mine is going by too quickly again.

I have some more pages from my journal to share. The wood-nymph was made using water-colours, mermaid markers, Gelatos and blow pens to make the splatters. The stars were stenciled. I am linking to Paint Party Friday, hosted by Eva and Kristin and to Simon Wednesday challenge, anything goes:

These pages were made using Gelatos, brush-pens, a stencil and some Jane Davenport washi tape. I made lots of such easy pages while it was so hot to keep myself occupied:

The tag is for Joan's time / clocks challenge at Tag Tuesday:

The photos were taken back in June, part of those I forgot to download. I always love these long-eared sheep, which move along the Rhine grazing. It must be difficult for them just now as the grass is all burnt brown and yellow from the big heat:

These photos were taken on a walk between the Altstadt of Düsseldorf and the Yacht Harbour:

This is a snack-bar boat, selling kebabs:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
