T stands for....

Hi Everybody!

On Tuesday we are starting a new theme at TIOT -
Destinations.
Projects of all formats are welcome, and you have two weeks to link to us, so hope to see you there!
I made a hybrid piece using elements from me and Serif, and a map of England, a free download from Orange Smile. I grew up in London, and was born round the corner from London Bridge and the Tower of London, so this is one of my fave destinations. I have added in some photos of my mum as a girl, of me at about the same age and my great grandma Rachel looking out of the window:

You still have a week to enter our challenge 'baby love' at
Tag Tuesday - hope to see you there, too. I made a digital tag using elements from Serif:

Today is also Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday, so here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies of the T Gang. Help yourself to a freshly baked waffle with apple, ginger and cinnamon compote:

 Cappuccino at the Rhine:

We had dark clouds and a lot of rain on Sunday:

Some scenes from around town:

And my hungry visitors:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Mother's Day

Hi Everybody!

On Sunday it's Mother's Day,  so I'd like to wish a happy one to all mums out there. I am re-showing a piece made last year showing my mum as a little girl:

At Tag Tuesday our theme is 'Baby love', and the theme covers everything about mothers and babies, whether animal or human. I made a hybrid tag showing some of the delightful young birds that can be seen everywhere just now:

Ans some photos of my walks taken in the past couple of weeks:

Last week we walked past this field with old farming implements, and you can see the maypole is still there:

And  I always love to see the horses:

Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Friday this and that

Hi Everybody!

For Paint Party Friday I have a hybrid piece made using the new stamps I carved a couple of weeks back and some elements from Serif:

Last Saturday was very hot, and my buddy G and I went for a walk in the woods, which was beautiful:

It was great to walk in the shade of the huge trees - the mosquitoes thought so, too, and accompanied us the whole time!

I was almost expecting to meet some gnomes or elves there:

A little stream (the Dickelsbach) runs through there:

Sometimes it's good to get away from it all and go back to nature!

Have a great day, take care,
ad thanks a lot for coming by!
