Autumn and Halloween

Hi Everybody!

Hope your weekend is going well. I had a girly afternoon
yesterday with a couple of friends, and had a quiet day today
to make up for it. I am feeling almost back to 'normal', but not
quite, so I am still taking things easy.
I made an autumn tag. The BG was distressed with DIs and
oxide inks. The leaves were stamped using some 2 part stamps
from Lavinia. The sentiment is from Hampton Arts. The dots and
spots were stenciled. The embellishments were gathered here
in the hedge in front of the house and tied together
with string. I am linking to country view crafts, mixed media
with autumnal colours:

For Elke's lovely 'landscape of the soul' challenge at
Art Journal Journey I have used one of my recent
moon photos to create a Halloween view from my window,
using elements from Serif, Algera and me:

This raven is always hopping about on the tram rails. I suppose
he finds a lot of crumbs there:

We had another wonderful moon yesterday, today was cloudy so there
was nothing to see:(

And some photos from out and about some weeks back:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Autumn weather

Hi Everybody!

Today I have a hybrid piece for Elke's 'landscape of the soul' theme
at Art Journal Journey, once again using photos of
my family:

For Tag Tuesday, all creatures great and small,
I have a large tag with a painted and stamped background, the stags
were punched from black recycled card. I am also linking to

Last night we had a fab moonscape, with dark clouds scudding by,
but unfortunately neither bats nor witches:

Today was cloudy/windy/rainy/ sunny day:

Have a great day, take care
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Autumn feelings

Hi Everybody!

I am slowly feeling a little better, but my energy levels are
still very low, so I am trying to take things a bit easier
just now. I did manage to make some tags and a journal page
though, but to balance it out I left out the house**rk.
Sooner or later things will hopefully be back to normal.
It's a cold, wet and stormy day here, so good weather for staying
home, reading and playing!

Here I made an A3 mixed media piece. The background was
brayered with yellow, ochre and orange, and then sprayed with
acrylics in red and yellow. I stamped into it with my scroll stamp
while it was still wet. The crow was painted using my home-made
crow stencil. The black looks rather bluish, sorry, but I
needed electric light as it is so dark today. The rest of the
background was stenciled in Adirondack espresso and Archival
black.
I am linking to Paint Party Friday, Elke's 'landscapes of the soul'
mixed media with autumnal hues

This fun mixed media tag is meant for Simon Monday Challenge,
a walk on the dark side, and Tag Tuesday, all creatures great and small.
Here the skellies (Sizzix die cuts) are taking a walk on the
dark side. The background was painted, brayered and given a coat
of hologram varnish. The owls were punched; the bats are
also a Sizzix die cut:

The pre-dawn photos were taken a couple of weeks back:

These photos were taken in the garden where I live:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
