T sTands for sTeampunk and more

Hi Everybody!

Tuesday is always a busy day, so I'd better get
started without more ado.
At TIOT we are starting a new challenge
😎Steampunk😎

As always, you have 2 weeks to join us, and projects of
all formats are welcome. Looking forward to seeing you there!

I made a mixed media /hybrid piece. The original was painted,
collaged, stamped and stenciled. Then I added some digital elements
from Mischief Circus and me. This is the hybrid version. I am
also linking to Art Journal Journey, Rosie's lovely theme of circles:

And this is the basic version:

At Tag Tuesday you still have a week to link up your animal
creations. Michele has made another post to
inspire you there. I recreated a piece I made
some years ago from the photos I had. The BG was stamped with
Paper Artsy stamps, the leopard and clock are from
LaBlanche.  The chandelier is a rub-on from a pack of Xmas
embellishments.
Once again I sewed all the layers together.
I am also linking to creative artiste, anything goes

Tuesday is also Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday Party.
This is the little market by the Rhine which opens
every Wednesday:

And this is a coffee-bike - wonderful invention!
And the coffee is made cup for cup with an espresso
machine and tastes
wonderful:

As you can imagine, this is a place I enjoy stopping at!

And at home there's always cappuccino and this week
I can offer you some lemon cake:

It is a pleasure to see all the flowers blooming just now:

This is the view from the end of our road towards the tram stop:

Lots of people plant flowers in the earth around the trees
along the road:

And I had to admire this wonderful balcony:

Have a great day, take care,
and thank a lot for coming by

Flowers and birds

Hi Everybody!

It's time for a new challenge at
As always, it's an anything goes theme,
with optional purple.
Our challenges always run from the 5th of the month,
and projects of all formats are very welcome, so hope
to see you there!

I made
an  9 1/2 x 11 1/2" mixed media piece.
The paper was gessoed, and the central image is a paper napkin.
I stenciled the birds, numbers and alphas with black Archival,
and the dots with blue distress ink.
The sentiment is from Dylusions.  As backing I used
cardstock in blue and purple, and sewed round
it twice to make it stable enough for a future
journal cover.
I am also linking to creative artiste Challenge, anything goes and
we love to create, also anything goes.
I am also linking to Create with TLC, anything goes,
as Desire asked me so nicely to join in!

This hybrid piece, made with elements from Mischief Circus and me,
is meant for Rosie's 'Circles' challenge at

More visitors to my balcony:

Flowers on the Rhine meadows:

Horses on the fields opposite the supermarket:

Flowers by the Basilica:

And last but not least, some of the flowers on my balcony:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Saturday is tag day

Hi Everybody!
It's weekend - enjoy!

For Tag Tuesday, Michele's lovely theme of 'animals',
I made a mixed media tag using some tiny animal
stencils, using vintage photo DI. I made a many layered
background, sewed it all together
and added some fibres. You still have more than
a week to join in!

For Go Tag Thursday, roadtrip/holiday
I made a digital tag. I wonder where these
strange people are going with the bike? She looks
quite happy, but the gentleman looks rather
bad tempered. Her bike looks rather modern, too -
perhaps she's time travelling....
I am also linking to Digitally made Challenges
Images used are from Mischief circus

Yesterday was market day, so I walked along the Rhine and
then to the market. I stopped for a cappuccino
at my fave ice parlour before walking round
the market:

Love this old house and the lovely flower-boxes:

Plants growing on the wall:

On my way home I was smiled at by lot of flowers:

We had some stormy rain-showers this week which
left some of my feathered friends looking
very bedraggled and badly in need of food:

Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
