Hi Everybody!
Today I am sharing some faces from long ago:
These were all made from hand-cut stamps:
The face is a more than life-size one:
I will be linking to Gillena's AFF and Nicole's FFO
Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by-

DeleteYou will have to explain to me what is involved in making hand-cut stamps, Valerie. The results are very impressive, I can tell you that for sure. Sultry women and mysterious owls is a pretty good start to my day, I would say. Last evening I was talking about real owls, among other things, when I did a presentation in Stratford on birding in Cuba. Some of the people who have been on my tours actually showed up to hear it. There was a big crowd, well-received, and I was home by 10 pm. This morning I will be leading a private walk for a small group, but then I have no commitments right through Monday. Should be able to work on the next blog post! I have the feeling that since there is not much narrative to this post you are probably still not feeling well. I hope things improve soon. Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteI used to love making my own stamps, it was great fun. I am still in a lot of pain from falling down the stairs, I hope it soon goes away! Glad to hear your audiences are growing, that'S wonderful. The bird man of Waterloo.....Have a relaxing weekend, hugs, Valerie
DeleteBut how are the stamps made?
DeleteThey are carved, with reversed images, in soft rubber, then inked and stamped.
