Thursday / Friday post

Hi Everybody!

Today I am sharing some  faces from long ago:

These were all made from hand-cut stamps:

The face is a more than  life-size one:

I will be linking to Gillena's AFF and Nicole's FFO

Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by-

  6. You will have to explain to me what is involved in making hand-cut stamps, Valerie. The results are very impressive, I can tell you that for sure. Sultry women and mysterious owls is a pretty good start to my day, I would say. Last evening I was talking about real owls, among other things, when I did a presentation in Stratford on birding in Cuba. Some of the people who have been on my tours actually showed up to hear it. There was a big crowd, well-received, and I was home by 10 pm. This morning I will be leading a private walk for a small group, but then I have no commitments right through Monday. Should be able to work on the next blog post! I have the feeling that since there is not much narrative to this post you are probably still not feeling well. I hope things improve soon. Hugs and kisses - David

    2. They are carved, with reversed images, in soft rubber, then inked and stamped.

  13. I'm guessing you made those stamps and they are just fantastic. Can't decide which I love most -- the Egyptian women, the cats or that complicated owl. Wow! Well done!
