Here's wishing you all a happy weekend, and a happy Easter to all who celebrate it! It's turned cold and grey here, but I'm sure an Easter walk will still be possible, even if I don't go looking for eggs!

DeleteSpring bloomed on your page and in your little town. I always love the way people decorate their window boxes. I don't have much of a green thumb, but might be able to keep those cute wooden flowers blooming. Have a beautiful weekend.

DeleteSpring is firmly ensconced here, Valerie, and despite a couple of colder than normal days, it continues on undeterred by overnight frost and temperatures that struggled to breach zero during the day. This morning it is bright and sunny and we are supposed to reach about eight degrees, so, quite pleasant for early April. We don't celebrate Easter, and I would imagine that during COVID even those who do have had their plans seriously impaired. Two years ago today I was in Panama, and I have not left the country since that vacation. Two years without travel has never happened during my entire adult life, not even one year in fact. Such is the influence of this damn pandemic! Stay well, have a good weekend, walk outside if you can! Hugs and kisses. David
ReplyDeleteHi David! It's much colder here today, too, but the sun is shining and it was pleasant walking outside. I noticed as I went past the Basilica that they have placed the 'stations of the cross' outside around the square, a good idea for those who want to observe the customs. I haven't been outside of a 10 kilometer radius since Covid began, it really is strange! Perhaps one day we can travel in freedom again! Till then we have to stay home and enjoy our memories! ReplyDeleteThe pollen here is so bad that we have all developed sinus infections - I had one so bad this week I went and got a Covid test just to make sure. It was negative but I am telling you I really thought I had it! Feeling a bit better now.
