T stands for Time at the lake

Hi  Everybody!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. On Tuesday we are starting a new challenge at Try it on Tuesday - She's got the look. As always, projects of all formats are allowed, and you have 2 weeks to link to us. I'm looking forward to seeing what you create. I made a tag using one of the African stamps I made recently. The lady was stamped onto white card using distress ink, fussy cut, and given some gold embellishments with perfect pearls. I mounted her onto some black and gold animal print card, and then sewed it all to some bronze mirri card:

It is also half time at Tag Tuesday, where our theme is locks and keys. I made a digital tag using elements from me and Serif. The background is a photo of a sheet of rusty metal:

It is also time for Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday, so here a warm welcome to all of the lovely ladies of the T Gang. Recently when I was out with my buddy G we stopped at a cafe in a park. G had an alcohol-free beer and and I had my usual cappuccino:

And here some more photos from our trip to Hariksee last week, where we enjoyed walking through the woods and by the water:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Friday this and that

Hi Everybody!

Another week is flying by, and tomorrow is Paint Party Friday, hosted as always, by Eva and Kristin. I got some more stamps cut this week. This one is about 7" high - these were the 'first impressions' again:

This one is 6"

At TIOT our theme is still destinations - I have a hybrid piece using pieced-together photos I took of the Altstadt on a free map background:

And here is an old mixed-media journal spread that I reworked because the pages had partly stuck together. The Hebrew text reads 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth'

Last Sunday I visited Hariksee (a large lake between here and the Dutch border) with my buddy G. It is a beautiful place to enjoy a quiet walk on a hot day:
