Rain's Thursday Art Date

Hi Everybody!

Rain's theme this week is 'a face on an object'.

First I am  showing some 'fun' pictures made some 10 years back:

And I never did like tea....

This is more to my taste:

These Photos were taken last year, where I photographed myself reflected in various things in town - here in shop windows, so I seem to be part of the object:

I'm the one wearing clothes:

Here I took photos in one of the mirrored sort-of-pyramids in front of the Daniel Liebeskind building here:

And I put together a few pics in my graphics programme yesterday:

That's all for today!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  1. Great faces art Valerie, nice to see you in the art work too. The reflections pictures are great and I love the orange man one, not so much the man but the idea behind it 😁😁

  15. Good morning Valerie, Supreme Leader of Balconia-by-the-Rhine. Che Guevara is perhaps the most recognizable face in all the world. I have seen his image in more countries that I can recall. The other prominent Argentinian on the world stage today is Pope Francis, but he hardly has the recognition of Che. Not the charm. Nor the cachet. Nice to have these reflected images of you, but we deserve a full-on photograph which we will all convert to posters and have mounted in our homes. Perhaps alongside Che. Have Nathalie take care of that without delay, please. Have a great day. David.

    1. Hi David. Back in the 60s Che was a hero for many young people, and his face was plastered all over our student union buildings at the university - in the classrooms he was not allowed! Yes, Pope Francis has a lot of competition there. And anybody who wants a full-size mounted pic of me in his home should please see a psychiatrist! Anyway, none of you could afford my prices! Have fun!

  24. Valerie you are so clever with your digtal art it's one thing I can not get my head around. A reflection is definitely the way I'd have gone with Rain's TAD. Really love that paper skirt, the hieroglyphic piece is my fav, I was surprised when Trump popped up... he'd look so much better with a big flower in his hair haa haa!! Hugs Tracey xx
