Hi Everybody!
Here's wishing us all a good, new week!
First up I have a page from my journal for autumn:
This face was made partly with stencils:
I hope you like this crazy cat lady:
And this is for Pinky's 'Spooky vibes' challenge at Tag Tuesday:
And the autumn colours outside my window:
I am linking to Tag Tuesday, Art Journal Journey and perhaps - if I manage it - to Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday TsfT
Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!
Lovely art photos and thinkies Valerie, crazy cat lady haha
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, I'm a crazy lady, too, but sadly no cat these days! Hugs
DeleteHi Val, glad to see you posting again, love all of the art, especially the crazy cat lady, just great! I love that you keep your humour no matter what! We had a quiet weekend, I did nothing, so that was wonderful! Hugs from us all, Sarah
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, glad you had some piece and quiet. The lovely shirt you sent came yesterday, I LOVE it! Thanks sooooooooooooooooooooo much! Hugs!
DeleteOh your autumn journal looks great Valerie. I love the variety of art. Spooky, autumn, a fun kitty and that interesting face. You've been having fun which is good. My husband was just talking about Bruce Springsteen and how performing is his love and you have to give people more at a concert than they came with. I can say the same thing about all your journal pages. And photos too. :) Great post. Happy new week. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika, painting keeps me sane just now, I need to think of fun things and not always dwell on the not so nice parts of getting old! Thanks for your lovely comments. If I need to take m mind of things I grab one of my journals which still has space and play. Have a great new week, I look forward to seeing more photos of your visits to lovely places! Hugs!
DeleteAnd I forgot to mention thanks for joining Alison's AJJ challenge.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteCarol x
The news is really depressing these days- Glad you also like crazy cat ladies, I want to paint some more crazy cats! Have a great, new week, hugs!
DeleteWhat a wonderful and refreshing collection of fall projects and funnies. Great journaling pages, faces and tags and I gave up watching tv news several years ago when it became obvious how biased the reporting was. The views you share are quite spectacular and magnificent! Have a great week ahead!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carol! If I watch the news I watch several different channels to see where they twist and zurn things. Have a great week, dear Carol!

ReplyDeleteStencils are fun!
DeleteThe crazy cat lady is right up my alley. I LOVE it. I also like how you shared that great entry for Alison's theme at AJJ. Spooky and fun. Also loved the collage of Dusseldorf. That horse drew my eye right away.
ReplyDeleteLove all the great coffee references. I can relate to several of them. Thanks for sharing with us in case you join us for T this Tuesday.
Got Failed to Publish," so not sure when you will see this.

DeleteFabulous art Valerie. Love the funnies, especially the old lady and the computer. ( A bit too close to home ) Hope you are well, hugs Wendy
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy, nice to see you are around again!
DeleteI like your journal very much, Valerie. Do you actually use it and record all your daily events in it? There are probably some exciting pages with secrets for your eyes only, maybe things to shock those who read it later. Maybe they’ll be published as the Tups Papers and people will rush to the bookstores to buy copies for all their friends so that they can discuss the scandals. Better send me a couple of pages so that I can pass judgement first and give you an idea of what to expect. Your lady with the full lips is sending me into realms of rapture as you might well imagine. I will not even begin to divulge my thoughts to you, but perhaps you only have to consult a page in your diary to refresh your memory! Ah the pleasure of it all. Your collage of pictures of Düsseldorf is charming, as of course are you. Hugs and copious kisses - David
ReplyDeleteMy journal is not used every day anymore, just here and there when I have ideas that I need to pdint or draw. I'm glad that you like my new lady, and yes, I can imagine your thoughts! Düsseldorf has lots to see and enjoy, but I prefer to be in Kaiserswerth, our ancient little town. Have a good week, hugs! Xxxxxxxxxx
DeleteWow, so many beautiful artworks! Loving your autumnal pieces and the photos look fabulous too 😊. The coffee cat really made me smile. Take care and sending you happy wishes! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jo! Yes, the coffee cat looks like me when I haven't had enough coffee! Take care, have fun, hugs!
DeleteLove the pieces, especially the first. Hope you are well. Hugs,

Glad you enjoyed the funnies, we all need to laugh! Sorry about the dentist. I was at mine three months back. Have a great week, hugs!
DeleteLove the art and the fall colors. I am seeing so much orange around me as I drive right now- so the oranges were spot on in the art and photos (also art). ;) Thanks for sharing the funnies!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jess, nice to see you again. I love the rich colours of autumn, and will be sad when all of the leaves have gone. Have a great week, hugs

ReplyDeleteYou enjoy your week, too, dear Kathy! Take god care of yourself, hugs!
DeleteGreat post Valerie, great views out the window, I hope the Rhine does not flood! Wonderful art you are making!
ReplyDeleteI saw the Rhine again today - it's gone down a bit, so that's good. Glad you like my art, thanks!
DeleteThe white face with black hands is very effective. I also like the comical cat. I hope you are in much better health — I would guess so from your beautiful art works this week.
ReplyDeletebest, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thanks Mae, I am slowly getting better, and managing to get most things done myself now, and that's good. Glad you like my comical cat! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteThanks Elle, I am slowly getting better but still have problems to walk as I mostly can't feel my feet.... Have a great week, hugs!
DeleteGreat to see you again! And I love your art. Crazy Catlady indeed! I am becoming a crazy catlady too as I have now got a cat (kitty).
ReplyDeleteLove the Düsseldorf photos, and your funnies/thinkies.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
Hi Lisca, nice to see you again. Your Kitty is gorgeous. There are lots of nice places in Düsseldorf, but my fave place is Kaiserswerth where I live. Have a great week, hugs
DeleteYour artwork is always fun. I especially like the woman's makeup today. Enjoyed all the funnies too.. thanks. Hope you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThanks Judee, Im good at makeup!
DeleteThe Meadow Flower page in your journal is very pretty, love the hazy background against the flowers and the (is it corn or wheat, I never know which is which).
ReplyDeleteOf course your portrait appeals to me, Great use of black in your work. And the cat - lots of fun in making those two I guess.
Both journal pieces that follow are lovely to look at, so much going on in the first one and some real cute figures happily spooking anyone who comes along. The second one is on fire with those gorgeous colours and I love the outline of the figures that are merely a suggestion in some ways. Lovely work.
Hugs, Neet xx
Thanks Neet, much appreciated. Hope you are feeling good. I'm feeling a bit better but still very tired. Hugs, Valerie
