  8. Friends, Germans and Countrymen, Citizens of the World, Good Burghers of Balconia-by-the-Rhine, be it hereby known that the esteemed Frau Doktor Valerie-Jael Tups, is once again restored to our fellowship of bloggers. A day of honour is required to mark this momentous event and from this day forward 22 January shall be known as Super Celebration of Ladies with Flowing Hair, a long title I admit, but when one sees the kind of women Valerie is creating, highly appropriate. Did you notice that they have birds flying in their tresses? How utterly exciting is that? Who knows, a couple might build a nest and raise young there, although I suspect that might get a little messy. In any event, in your own way, be sure to celebrate today and memorialize in your own way the return of one of the luminaries of the Circle of Crafting Sisters. Hugs and kisses, David

    1. Ah David, how wonderful to once again read your song of praise, reading things like that does me good! The birds in their hair or hugging their shoulders are always especially for you! Good idea to make the 22nd January nto an international celebration, too. I went for a nice walk this afternoon, and returned in time to enjoy coffee and cheese cake with cherries, yessssssss! Now I'm back in my room and trying to type, not easy at the moment, but I hope it will get better. Have a great day, take care, hugs to you and Miriam!

  10. I read this last night and then got interrupted by dinner being ready, and never got back to it. It was still up on my screen this morning. So let me get to say what I wanted to say last night. First of all, I am so glad you have more energy and cane do some blogging. But please don't overdo it and take care too. I love both of your pages today. It was very clever to use the light blue hair in the first scene as the sky and the dark blue as the sea. It makes a lovely piece. And I love the clock faces on those cool types. It is only a matter of time though and they may have pot bellies and not be so cool. Smile. Thanks so much for sharing these over at AJJ. It is much appreciated. Get some rest and enjoy the weekend. 12. I'm glad you're feeling a bit better and I, too, hope it stays that way. You have some beautiful pieces here today (and some fun things too!) and I would think that's a big plus! Keep at it and take care of yourself. Do take care of yourself, though. I know your blog friends would far prefer you miss a post than feel you have to do one but aren't quite up to it. Your health is the most important thing.
