Hope your day is going well. We had some cool air today, which was really lovely - it's good to get a chance to breathe deeply again!
For Art Journal journey - post and postage, and Moo Mania and More, swirls, I made another journal page, using a digitally made image on a painted background. I think the blue skies outside must have influenced the background colour. I used Vivacolor metallic ice blue. I added some stamping as well as some stamps, and some little 'letters'. I painted over the edges of the image to meld it into the background.

Your art journal page has a lovely vintage feel to it. The blue really pops against the sepia. Love the bird!!! Gorgeous photos... makes me wish I could be lifted out of our Winter to be there!

ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful piece, love the little "Love" stamps the pretty bird is holding with his colourful string and the lttle letters, very clever. This is top class. Lovely blues, yellow and swirls too.

Even in this day of almost instant messaging and video contacts we seem to never stay in touch with those we love the most. I know I'm guilty of it. Thanks too for sharing that classic song with us. Now I'll have to dig out my CD and listen to the whole album again. Should make for good art music ♥ Peace & Kindness!

And the hay with that beautiful landscape behind it. And the little bee on the flower.... they are all such an incredible glimpse of "WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD". Love Louis and the song. Thank you. AND THEN... your PRECIOUS mail bird... now that is just ADORABLE in every way. It's so like a little bird to carry twigs and string and worms etc... just like you have that string with the stamps coming from your little bird's mouth - it's PERFECT. I love every inch of this creation. The vintage looking post cards at the bottom just set everything else off to a tee. What a FABULOUS post - I am smiling. Thanks bunches.... j.

Wonderful page today. The bright colors along with the gorgeous photos is just what we needed. We also had a down poor of rain last night but the sun is out this morning.

OMGoodness I love how the bird is holding the yarn with those LOVE postage stamps dangling from it. Lovely colours and background too.

The colors are WOW and your design so wonderful.
Those LOVE stamps are favorites of mine.
Funny enough I played with putting a string with a tag in a birds mouth for one of my tea cup pages...using two stamps like you did is great.
I find the blue chicory difficult to photograph...you captured the splendid blue on those perfectly too.
