Hi Everybody!
Autumn is always my fave season, I love the colours, the falling leaves, the cooler air and misty mornings. Today I am sharing a tag I made. The moon is one of my photos, other embellishments are from Serif. As always you have 2 weeks to join us at TIOT, and please have a look at the lovely creations of my teamies there. DeleteGood morning Valerie: Artwork featuring an owl is already elevated one notch above the rest. It's a lovely bird and I have taken note that it is perched on a pumpkin, something I have never seen in all my years of ornithological meanderings. The fields around here are full of pumpkins so I will have to take my binoculars and sixty-power telescope and scan them one by one. Who knows, words of wisdom may also be inscribed on the pumpkin of choice. I see you got busy with your esoteric jargon again. An ignoramus like me has no idea what magicking the tag onto the journal page means, but I am sure that the members of the Sisterhood of Crafters are all in on your secret. We went for a lovely walk yesterday and will be joining the fellow members of our Tuesday group in a couple of hours to meander anew. Fall is indeed a lovely time of year. Hugs and kisses. David
ReplyDeleteGood morning, dear David! Here we have owls known as pumpkin owls, which love to sit in places where they can be seen. The owls are literate, of course, and like to write sentiments on their pumpkins, to bring some sense to the people who spot them. They are, unfortunately, once again confined to Balconia! And don't tell me you don't know how to magick a tag onto a journal page! Don't you learn any tricks these days? Or perhaps your magic wand needs a new battery! DeleteThat owl tag is amazing! I love it. It would be great in my owl book-smile. And when you added it to your page and that lovely lady it makes an even more wonderful piece. Perfect for Wendy's challenge too. And I am with you with some cooler less humid weather. My poor bees have been fighting some mold on the cover of their house and I am hoping this week with less heat they can clean it out and be gone with it. Loving the quote about the dog too. ReplyDeleteGlad you like my owl, feel free to print it out for your owl book. I've been hearing an owl again the past few nights, but I haven't seen it. Sorry about the mo(u)ld on the bees' hive, hope it goes away soon. Dogs are always friendly creatures. A man I see every morning has two Irish wolfhounds, and they always run to greet me, I just hope they don't knock me down, but they seem to like me! Have a great day, take care, hugs!
