Here's wishing us all a happy new year! This year has been one of the worst most of us can remember, and we are all longing for more safety, more normality, and the possibility to meet up with friends and family once again. Let's stay hopeful that 2021 will be a turning point!

DeleteThe New Year is almost upon us, Valerie, and as you say, 2020 has brought many challenges, and most of us will not be sorry to close the final page at midnight tomorrow. May 2021 be better for everyone, may the vaccine deliver on its promises, may gentle rains fall and warm sunshine bathe us in summer. I could also add the wish that our politicians would acquire decency, honesty and common sense, but that would be asking far too much! For you especially, my fervent wish is for good health, and happiness. That is perhaps all that any of us can expect after all. "See" you next year. DeleteJust popping by to wish you well at the end of this peculiar year we have had. We are going out in style in Tier 4 which almost means lockdown, well I guess it does but it is not much different to us as we have not been in a shop, not even for groceries, since before the 15th March. Hopefully I will soon get the vaccine and my other half will follow quickly afterwards and then maybe we can go out a little more than we have. Thank goodness we both have interests that have kept us going throughout this year.
