T sTands for This and ThaT

Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing us all a great week!

Today is Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party, so here a warm welcome to all of the lovely ladies who visit here. My drink is once again cappuccino:

I'm hoping for the days when it will be safe to sit in a cafe again, drink capuccino, and do lots of people watching:

One of my fave places to go for a drink:

Short post today, time is running away too quickly!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  10. As they say in Ireland, top o' the mornin' to you, my fine little coffeeaholic. I hope you notified the clinic of this condition before entering so that they could boost their supplies to cope with the arrival of a super slurper. And there it is, on demand, any time you need it. Now that's therapy! Your artwork is wonderful. I especially like number 2. She looks like she doesn't have a care in the world and if you can drink coffee and read about it at the same time, it doesn't get much better. I am about to have one myself as a matter of fact. You would love it here, Valerie. Most restaurants have a "bottomless cup" practice and will refill your cup as many times as you wish without extra charge. COVID cases are on the rise, and there is talk of returning to total lockdown, so there will be no enjoyment of the bottomless cup for some time yet. Take care, stay well, keep getting better, improve daily, wear funky shoes, think naughty thoughts, don't spit into the wind and drink coffee! Hugs and kisses. David

    1. Thanks David! We just had lunch here and it was good! I'm happy to say that the coffee supply here hasn't fun out yet! Definitely therapeutic. Here in cafes you have to pay for each cup you drink, your system sounds good. Here, too, the Covid numbers are rising so there are strict rules for Christmas. Today is my birthday, feels a bit strange here, but they all sang for me at breakfast. Naughty thoughts?? Me??! Have a great day, hugs to you and Miriam!

    2. Happy, happy birthday, Valerie. I hope the day is very enjoyable for you. It won't be difficult to remember your birth date; a Solstice Phenom is what you are!

  19. I do sooo miss coffee and lunch outings. In the meantime I'm having my coffee at home. I don't want to end up like the dinosaurs, now, do I?! Happy T Day!

  20. Happy birthday dear Valerie. I see you are celebrating in the best possible way. Coffee keeps me going, even when I don't want to. This is a fabulous post and the reminder about dinosaurs is so very clever (and true). I always love your girl in the cafe, but I especially like the first one you created. This is great homage to my favorite drink in the world. I like hot chocolate, too, but it doesn't have the punch coffee has.

Thank you for sharing your take on coffee and hot chocolate with us this Tuesday for T. I loved everything about this post. Again, I hope your birthday was fabulous, even though you had to spend it at the clinic. At least you had lots of coffee to share it with.

  22. A very nice coffee post, and I certainly hope that in 2021 we can all once again enjoy a coffee (or tea) in a café.

    Take care

  24. Happy Birthday, dear Valerie. Being born on such a special day is a gift. I hope the cycle ending will bring you good health as the days start to lengthen after the winter solstice. I love your coffee restaurant page and join in your hope that things will begin to normalize (???) soon.

Happy birthday, T-day and Christmas! Hugs, Eileen

  27. Happy birthday Valerie, I hope you had a lovely day (even if a little unusual) I love your pieces today and I'm definitely envious of the lady sat outside drinking coffee. You don't realise how important the little things are until they are gone. Take care and eat lots of birthday cake! xx

  34. I remember you have a favourite coffee shop and how much you must miss it. It is such a shame that we are all experiencing a different way of life but we must not let it get us down. Thank goodness we have coffee and art to pick us up.
I love the art you are sharing with us today. The first picture has some beautiful colours in it, very muted but yet very warming. The second reminds me of someone who enjoys sitting in a cafe, maybe it is you?
    Hugs, Neet xx
